Has anyone made sure to add 'number of thread pages before all three headliners were official' to the thingy?

I don't think this year's 3rd headliner announcement has much relevance for the 'thingy'.

It's clearly a cobbled together at the last minute thing with other factors outside Glasto's control having driven that. It's unlikely to be repeated in the same way again, because even if similar happened the timings are likely to be a bit different.

Anyone had a flick through some comments on social media yet. I think my personal favourite goes to this lady...

"Last year the amazing Kasabian...this year the Who....what a big let down and a waste of my tIcket money !!!!!!!!!!"

Got to get to a point where ME and EE can't be arsed with all this hassle and negativity.

I'd like to think the organisers have a good laugh reading through the pathetic gibberish on social media.

Let's be honest, a Glasto ticket is probably wasted on that person and much more likely to go to a good home if they ask for a refund

I remember standing at the side of the pit listening to Crosby, Stills and Nash in 2009. There were a couple of young lads waiting to see Kasabian and one turned to the other and said 'It's disgusting. What have they done to justify a Pyramid appearance?'

Now I'm not a huge fan of Crosby, Stills and Nash, but it struck me as rather ironic that a Kasabian fan was questioning the suitability of CSN to play.

There was a Kasabian fan on rubbishing Kendrick Lamar earlier. You despair, but different strokes for different folks and that..

Those sort of Kasabian fans sort of remind me of some of Oasis' fans back in the day. Only listen to one band really. Apart from a bit of Beatles because Oasis told them to.

Oh, and The Day We Caught the Train by Ocean Colour Scene because they toured with Oasis and the singer is dressed like Liam in the video.

Would this be the same Kasabian fan who posts more regularly than anyone else in the Taylor Swift thread to tell everyone that they're obsessed with Taylor Swift?

  Who did that one? I would like to point out that my hair in my Twitter picture isn't actually my hairstyle (assuming that's where it came from) :P

Edit: Actually I've changed the picture now but I'm referring to the one it usually is.

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
