I honestly think it could be Sheeran. He's at the height of his fame right now .. And would tick the solo artist, from UK, bump up etc.

I know he's in San Fransisco on Friday 26th June .. But he could fly back next day .. Play Glastonbury on the Sunday and get back to Denver for the 29th June. Quite easy with the hours you get back flying to the USA.

He doesn't have a band he would need to bring, and I'm sure he'd be fully up for doing it. This opportunity may never happen again for him .. His 3rd album could flop and he could be back busking on the streets.

taxi for this guy hahaa

How many more times, Prince does not have an issue with a festival he's actually playing selling tickets off the back of his name...

His issue was that he felt Glastonbury allow people to believe he's playing & so sell tickets off the back of untrue rumours. Whether or not there is any truth in that is a different debate.

Debate? If by debate you mean completely untrue then yes its a debate :P

Is there anyone who'd prefer Noel Gallagher over Prince?

Neil Surely? :P

Top one says "Glastonbury 2015 Ticket & Coach Travel - Deposits"

It wouldn't be a deposit this time, my guess the desposits are still in the system and just been given that date so they don't accidentally go live or anything. (Maybe its come out after tidying up after everyone paid their balance off)

I am beginning to think that there will just be a coach resale this year and no general admission tickets sold.

If this is the case, I won't be going for the same reasons as last year :( how gash!

On a side note: British, Solo, Band............ they should book Steven Wilson to be the 3rd headliner. Excellent world class band and great rock/prog tunage!

I am aware also that this would not happen in a million years......

That coach link didn't work, but Jesus it gave me a massive adrenaline rush, I automatically go into action mode when I see the booking page. Need to calm down now.

That might be the plan for the main resale. But not the case for the 'sercet' sales in may.

    • A question has crossed my (questionable) mind;   Has the size of the Green Fields remained the same as other areas have expanded / been added on to, since say, 2014 (the last time that I attended)? Are they 'lost' within, or well attended?    That's actually two questions. The second one just slipped in at the end by taking advantage of my lack of means to stop it.
    • I'd say the same about Kylie.    Annie would be awesome, Duran not so much, and on the issue of them wanting a beanie slot, that probably rules out a fair few others who I think would fit the bill very well... and are legitimately more entitled to a headline, and/or too expensive.   Was just about to suggest Chaka Khan, but see @Gnomicide has beat me to it!    What about someone like Bryan Ferry?
    • It's certainly gone more that way, but then they went completely in the opposite direction and had Cat Stevens.
