It's almost 100% bullshit but somebody on Twitter just said 'a lad they know' spoke to Reni, and that he mentioned glastonbury and new album...

'A mate of a mate of a mate of a mate of a mate once saw Ian brown eat some chips in 1994 and glastonbury sells chips so it's 100%'

Funnily enough, last night I found myself in an indie nightclub, against my better judgement. It was in here that I encountered Becky from Oldham, who told me that Reni was her brother's dog's mate's local butcher's uncle's next door neighbour or something shit like that, and it was through this close relationship she had with Reni, that she knew The Stone Roses would be the final Glastonbury headliner. Take this info with a pinch of salt, because Becky from Oldham struck me as something of a moron.

IS it time to move within a short distance of your bed in case we have to suddenly stand by it at some point today or tomorrow?

I ensure that I am never far from my bed. Nothing to do with announcements, I'm just a lazy bastard.

It sounds like she has better stuff to do than say who is and isn't playing based on a "leak". In fact considering what Tim Burgess said it seems she (and individual stage bookers) may be in the middle of that right now.

I dunno... charlatans tweeted saying '<3 glastonbury' then quickly removed it and are now denying it (surprise surprise)... To me at least it seems like they're clearly playing and have been told to play ignorant about it, and I wouldn't be surprised if most acts just did that as a default answer.

    • Have you tried Anna von Hausswolff yet? Great singer, and she's from Gothenburg so guess she'll be extra excited to show her skills, especially after she unfortunately had to cancel her early summer dates.    Different style, but Oklou for me was the highlight of Primavera (apart from Geese), really enjoyable relaxed music.
    • A few bigger acts that did other similar festivals this year but not Truck, wouldn't be surprised to see one or two of these (if they're touring):   Reytons The Streets Blossoms Sophie-Ellis Bextor Rick Astley Scissor Sisters Dizzee Rascal   Truck on the undercard seems to rotate a lot of it every 2/3 years, expect to see some of these (if they're touring): Yard Act Sports Team Sea Girls Pale Waves Fat Dog Peace Swim Deep Courting   Hope Westside Cowboy and Radio Free Alice are booked again and get some bigger slots next year
    • I read a reliable source saying there's not enough time to stress test and have worked through any major financial decisions between now and then.   So guarantees this budget will just be tinkering at the edges only.
    • Thanks @sisco. Looking forward to it!
