Best case scenario - lineup is released in the coming days with a TBA third headliner, and Flo elsewhere on the bill. Loads of people then don't pay their balances, don't try in the resale, I (along with everyone on here who needs one) bag a ticket, then the purple thing is announced. Perfect.

The massively unpopular and unknown Florence and the Machine?

EDIT: I misread your fucking post like she was announced as the headliner. Ignore me.

Eugghhuvuvuguhuhyygyh.

I wrote TBA headliner so that some schlongs will revolt and cry that they aren't paying £200 without knowing the headliners, and then thought sticking Flo elsewhere on the bill means they can't bump her up to replace P****e when he pulls out, without looking silly.

Edit: Oh lol

I know now, sorry boo.

they only had a TBA last year because they literally could not announce metallica.

This year - unless their third headliner this year is in the same postion as metallica, they will just delay the lineup, rather than do the whole TBA thing..

If Prince says "I'll play but you can't announce me until after the resale because I'm not having you use my fucking name to sell your tickets again", are they gonna say "Okay pal we'll get Florence and the Machine instead".

I understand why there was a TBA last year, but that doesn't mean it's the only reason for them to ever have a TBA.

Also my post wasn't serious.

I'm not entirely sure.

I have a feeling there might be a lot of self-confirms happen from 1st April, but it depends on what the bands have been told.

I've just about given up trying to get stuff by other means. Even remote people who have a snippet or two are being far more secretive this year than has been the case in the past.

I wonder does this mean it is a relatively weak line up

Why hasn't Paul McCartney been mentioned more? Surely it fits the bill of "He's definitely British, but the band are not British any more" as well as a non-rock headliner. He's also playing Roskilde festival the week after so he's doing the big festivals.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
