With all due respect, I think you've misremebered this. I think you'll find that he ate three giant baked potatoes and then ran over his own head.

He wasn't able to bellow "Cooooooom Onnnnnnn!" or do the the 'Bring It' hand flaps for a good 6 months afterwards.

I've been lurking for a fair bit but I would have suggested Coldplay given their new album coming out and their habit of starting their tour and album cycles at Glastonbury.

I'm a big fan but booking them again so soon is pathetic and boring. I'm unlikely to be there unless the other stages are also total dross. I also don't understand why Coldplay start at Glastonbury when they could play at the end with a conquering greatest hits set. Not on their fourth time though.

Uninspired, lazy and slightly desperate booking... If true. Any spare straws going?

The Libs look pretty nailed on to headline R&L, so if that happens, I can't see them headlining Glastonbury

I think Coldplay and Foos are very likely, but the third act is hard to pin down. My money's on either Florence and the Machine or Elton John

Been away for a few weeks, so interesting to see Coldplay as TBC. What is the deal with Radiohead - has Neil or anybody heard anything positive or negative. For what it's worth, my 20 cents...

Radiohead - No brainer for me. They haven't played a major stage for over a decade. They are probably one of a kind in terms of both quality and popularity over the past 20 years. The KoL and especially In Rainbows stuff is ****ing ace. I know people can't sing along, but these guys aren't stupid. They'll pick a set-list which picks up the 'populist' pace at the necessary times and lets people quietly enjoy the genius of Reckoner etc at other points.

Coldplay - Quite surprised. I've missed them every time they've played Glasto so might actually go along if they did play. Never been a big fan but am sure the gig will be good from reports. I sort of doubt they'll headline Pyramid again though - maybe some sort of special guest slot on a major stage?

Coldplay/Radiohead/Foos/Libs - I really can't see Glasto picking three rock/alt-rock bands. They haven't done that for years. It seems that they prefer a rock band, a pop act and one other. Someone like Elton John or Madonna seems more likely for the Sunday.

I saw them at Leeds in 2009. I think he meant a decade since they played a major stage at Glasto.
