Here’s a boat load from the same year, 2017 being my first Glasto. We took so many photos because we were so amazed by what we were seeing round every corner.

The teepee field in perfect Festival weather, the Elrow takeover of Love Bullets, T&C field performers, a day time bimble round Shangri La and the Pyramid at sunset (from memory this was at the start of Ed Sheeran. We wandered up to the back of the field, listened to 2 songs and decided to bugger off elsewhere.).

Another one of the Teepee field that year.

Prob posted this before but this from Friday 2005 when there was essentially a river flowing through the Other field. Only time I've ever been a chair w*nker, but we sat at the back of the near empty field watching Royksopp and Fatboy Slim, drinking Brothers and smoking. We had a great time. The world and his wife was at the White Stripes and The Killers.Mud.PNG.6db5083a52bd2b2f65e42208d9d2a914.PNG

I might have shared this before, but it’s one of my favourite photos from the festival - 2016 Saturday evening, Other stage, amazing set from Chvrches, and the sun comes out after some truly shitty weather. It was a proper Moment.

Also just came across this one, I think it was the Thursday night and we’d been in the SE corner but decided to go for a bimble about the entire site. They were testing the lights on the Pyramid & Other stages, it was freezing cold but had a really ethereal, dreamlike feel to it all. I seem to remember we ended up somewhere in the green fields after this… 🙂 It’s not a crazy party time photo but really reminds me of the random nature of the Glastonbury experience.

That was a struggle that day...we went wandering around mid afternoon then got back to our camp in Kidney Mead, got very stoned and then (like you) the only time I can recall being a chair w*nker and just sat at the back of the Pyramid Field for The White Stripes and then went to bed!

    • I'm surprised they risked it, especially after nearly missing their Glasto 22 slot under similar circumstances  I did see someome say Ellie didnt sound as strong as recently but I'm guessing playing 3 shows in 2 different continents doesnt help that    On the topic though I can definitely see them doing a Fontaines and having a break over winter before a few final Clearing shows next summer
    • That's fair on WA - I did recall people thinking Fontaines would take this year off before this was announced.    On the subject of Wolf Alice, they did Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday then Kendal Calling last night. Bit of an odd choice, no? Half imagine at Kendal that they would've been just exhausted.
    • Just logged onto the app to start planning my days and there really are a LOT of stages missing. Apart from the Seaside Stage there is no Casemates this year etc. Apart from the Seaside Stage, there are no Casemates this year, etc. Can't see anything about the kids field really. And there's local acts that are normally there like Kojak's Revenge that aren't appearing either.  Normally we get down fairly early but I can't see anything before 3pm I'm keen to see. Only one real clash as well, which is good, but it's thin and it's not thin in the sense of "I've seen a lot of these acts before"
