I caught this one during Ross From Friends in Silver Hayes, on the Thursday. I'm not much of a photographer during sets (or in general) but I couldn't help myself with this one.

How was that set? I caught some of the Friday night (or maybe Saturday night?) in Wow and it was a bit too heavy for my liking.

His live set in Stonebridge on Saturday afternoon was brilliant.

Yeah i thought he was class, the timing of the day suited the set really well, wasn't too heavy was feel-good house stuff, beaming smile across the face at all times kind of set. The guys i went with aren't into the dance scene at all so I just had to choose my battles wisely that thursday, because I could've stayed there all night. Was very satisfied with RFF before Prospa stole the show later in the night

in 2010 during the England game on the pyramid, Orange too a massive high res photo , they put it on Facebook so you could tag yourself in, something to do with a world record for the most tagged photo. Sadly i cannot find this photo any more. since they were bought out by EE this photo has vanished

Not my best pics but ones I still have that aren’t on a hard drive.

1. Arriving first night (I think) & checking in with parents after sleeping on Brighton beach the night before due to a delayed easyjet flight from EDI. Guess the campsite because I’ve forgotten.

2. Foo’s

3. The Charli XCX streamers

On Wednesday evening Fatboy slim was introduced by Michael Eavis before a screening of a Ibiza documentary by some arty guy called Julian. The silent disco was great fun

The small World Stage - a great venue, best visited after midnight up until 3 am. Cosey fire pits and wonky coffees with great music .

On your way in from Gate C, new for 1919 was a new area. Rimski's Yard. Tiny but worth a look. I wish I had taken some pics of it

Easily my favourite area of the whole festival. Strummerville. Great place to chill by the fire and there's even a cafe by the entrance, top of the hill before you hit the exit to Worthyview.

    • Kind of crackers how fast this summer seems to be sailing by. But aye, must be some news soon!
    • I am very possibly wrong about this but I do think that the pitch you get allocated appears to be related to your time of arrival, (i.e. you get the next one available) rather than the price you paid for a small, medium or large pitch.  They all appear to be the same size to me.

    • Liddle: "Drop a small nuclear bomb on Glastonbury to immediately remove from our country almost everybody who is hugely annoying.”   Farage: Free speech!    Polanski: accepts a collaboration on 20 innocuous looking set of photos on instagram but doesn't notice that one that says 'making plans for Nigel' with a guillotine image.   Farage: I expect the MET police to arrest him.
    • I take my lad to the local non-league club - Royston Town - not he's 13, he goes there with his mates and he plays in their youth team.  Not many people there - lucky if they hit 800, but lovely supporting the town team.  I've took him to some league clubs too - Cambridge and Stevenage are great to visit and not crazy prices - his first one was Cambridge v Sunderland (I'm a mackem) when they were in league 1, so a great experience for him.  The England matches aren't too bad value either at Wembley - it's just the parking that stings you. Problem is, he's a City fan, so at some point have to bite the bullet and get him up to the Ethiad. Have done the tour, but he'd love a proper game....my wallet, less so!
