I've just been to my last gig of the year yesterday, which was Us Vs Them curated and headlined by Los Campesinos!, so the time is right for me to rank the gigs I've been to this year (they actually didn't play My Year In Lists, it would've been more fitting if they had).

It's been a really great year for gigs for me, I am now skint.

Glastonbury aside, personal circumstances have meant very little live music for me this year but I did get to see I Am Kloot's John Bramwell playing a solo gig in my hometown that was pretty special. Hopefully get to a few more gigs next year.

Neil Young- Glasgow....the way he crept on from side of stage and opened with ATGR. Still lots of Neil songs I'd love to see live, but probably never will...Thrasher...Cortez etc. 

Kamasi Washington- Green Man. Great atmosphere, and was my first Gandhi's Flip Flop @ GM 

 

I haven't admitted it in the Radiothread yet, but I didn't actually enjoy the Roundhouse that much
