Yes I’m biased as they are my favourite band, but this Maccabees set is everything and more.

Snap. They just resonate with me and my friends so much growing up at time. No bands hits the nostalgia chord for me. Just love everything about them.

Pretty underwhelming Sunday evening lineup tbh. Are we allowed to say that?

Couldn’t disagree more, I’ve had clashes all afternoon 🤣 would very happily watch 4 of the 5 available headliners and maybe 5 because I can’t remember what the 5th choice is.

O Rod’s crowd seems a bit on the light side… surprises me, I feel like she should have a lot of crossover appeal. I’d have given her a go if there and generally prefer to avoid the Pyramid

BBC zoomed right to the back earlier and Olivia’s crowd is really small for a headliner - I’m surprised to be honest

That is surprising but she was on at like 6pm at a guess last time. I can't see, quoting BST, a lot of that crowd wanting to be there for the weekend for her either to be honest and they aren't old enough on their own. Added if you're not local then just Sunday tickets aren't happening.

Can also add the family point but then families go every year on Sunday. But not all the families going, even on local tickets are there to see acts that will have many young kids. I think everyone would agree though they expected her to be Friday or Saturday, not Sunday....worst day for her scheduling too

Afternoon was good but The Prodigy was an easy choice of the headline options.

    • I didn't think I'd ever watched a Coben adaptation or read one of the original books, though turns out I did - I watched one called The Stranger back in 2020. Clearly didn't stick long in my memory as until researching it, I didn't know that was one of his. Queens Gambit or Black Mirror, it was not.    But clearly it's popular tripe in some respect if Netflix is going yes to everything he has to offer and are apparently about to start trying his most popular individual character, as seen below:   https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2026/jul/30/how-harlan-coben-became-the-king-of-potboiler-tv   Plus hey. Sometimes people get a kick from watching something and deriding it as crap. Don't let this internet rando stop you haha
