Viji released an album last year (produced by that guy, released by that label) and also singles dating back to 2020...

    2024 New Music

Beautiful new one from Bristol based singer songwriter Pem. Produced by Ali Chant (you name it, he has his name on it) on his label Fascination Street Records FFO: KJP
  3. Could potentially be one of the shows at the new Olympia West Hall... "Olympia London West Hall will be a 4,400 new capacity venue, forming part of the wider regeneration of the Olympia London exhibition centre. The purpose-built music venue will be located above the existing west exhibition hall at Olympia London. Construction work is underway on the 14-acre site and the project is slated for completion in 2024." - Owned by AEG And I'm also tipping them for All Points East and Forwards, Bristol
  4. With it being an AEG Presents ad that is circulating, I'm saying All Points East and Forwards Festival in Bristol for sure. And then a date or two in the North/ Scotland.
  5. LCD Soundsystem (would have bet my hat on them this time last year), The Smile, Massive Attack/ Portishead, Self Esteem, Fred, Tyler the Creator, NIN, Nick Cave...
  6. This Snooper album is a ripper. Quick at 22 mins but goes through the motions when you need it. Doing a few UK shows in November...
  7. They will* play, they'll do something to go the extra mile (Guy Gurvey compostion/ strings ala 2013), the crowd will love it and they will further add to their legacy. *By will I mean I can't stand the idea of Foos headlining, and I was meant to see AM headline in 2013 but Oxfam cancelled my volunteering application a month before the festivals because they 'overbooked'
  8. Dua Lipa - Cold Heart Sam Fender - Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting Harry Styles (wish George was still here to do it) - Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me Britney - Bitch is Back My stabs in the dark (Hopefuls)
  9. Listen to Baxter Dury's new album and hearing how his dad is Ian (many times)

    The churnups

Let's just have a year without Grohl (+co) please. But let's have another year with Jarvis (+co) please.
  11. Grian Chatten (of Fontaines D.C. fame) is releasing a solo album in June Strong singles so far Produced by Dan Carey (who else, the man is a rash on the music scene)
  12. Hard to predict anything but a massive future for The Last Dinner Party. Hard ABBA, Kate Bush, Sparks vibes, but fresh Already supported The Stones before a debut single was even out, and signed to Universal. It won't be Wet Leg big, but more along the lines of Sports Team-size
  13. The great shock to me... Rudimental are still cared about? And enough to headline a stage. Were they not a thing when Reggie and Fearne were presenting TOTP
  14. Really hoping that Arctics are over the cameo role of the jailhouse monk Miles Kane, But Lana however, she can pull him out for 4 mins 30 if she really wants... F*ck it, just bring out Alex Turner, a collab between the two would blow Tumblr minds
  15. 40.476897800303455, -75.6255779 Which is Bear Creek Mountain Resort... So Lankum
  16. I think people are maybe taking this AM headline for granted. Whatever people's views on them they have been arguably the biggest British guitar-band since Oasis and arguably bigger across the pond. If the rumours are true that this tour could be their last and I know they down played that in the album campaign, but as an avid fan I see it being their 'swan-song', at least for some time more than a classic AM album gap. It'll be 10 years since they last headlined and in that time have released three full length albums (whatever you may think of them, there was two #1's and a #2 because their marketing team stuck to their guns). Coldplay were headlining at a rate of less than every 5 years at one point...
  17. (Shameless-plug, which is fitting with today's release) DAMEFRISØR's debut EP 'Island of Light' is out now FFO; The Horrors, EATB, Joy Division, MBV, post-punk/ post-rock in general
  18. PAY THE CASH! GET LANA BACK ON THE FARM
  19. Happy The Murder Capital day y'all
  20. Well over the Speedy Wunderground & Dan Carey *ss-licking nowadays but this is actually decent Bound to do well with the number of connections that label has with pluggers, press and just label 'clout'
  21. A lot of praise coming from Mr-Indie Steve Lamacq Debut EP 'Island of Light' out 24th Feb and they've just announced their first UK headline tour

    Brixton Crush

I'm sorry but seeing reports of up to 3000 people trying to gain entry and blame is still be put onto site management. 3000 of 4921 (Brixton Capacity) is roughly 60%. Do we think that Glasto or any other festival prepare for 160% capacity? So Glasto should always be prepared for 336,000 people?
  23. Through in 12 mins this year! I've got possibly one of the worst internet connections (struggle to *llegally stream football), but somehow managed to get tickets to 3 of the 4 Big-Gs I'll have attended.
