Chic look great but I am very thankful I got to enjoy them on the pyramid a few years ago whenever it was. Struggling with the heat today and happy to be chilling at home!

Katy J was fab! So pleased for her. She was also great at Bearded.

How can one man be involved in so many bangers? Ridiculous. So good. They were amazing when I saw them headline bestival and they obviously have not got any worse.

Nice to see they've changed the set list ever so slightly. Don't remember them playing Material Girl, Modern Love or Lose yourself to Dance before.

Snow Patrol taking me back to 2009 when Oasis split up and they headlined V Festival at Chelmsford.

I was at the Stafford festival, we got to see Oasis that night, but they we're awful and Snow Partol we're miles better that night, it wasnt until the next day when we heard about Oasis not doing Chelmsford and then splitting up that we realised why they were so awful that night

Certainly was a big disappointment but then Gary said they were doing Champagne Supernova and the whole crowd just sang it, to be fair they did great stepping up.

I had thought there would be three blubber 'moments' for me this year...

Prayer to the Unborn - Numan. Tick, the most important influence on my taste in music life ever, didn't disappoint.

Sailing - Rod. Tick, had me and the wife blubbering this afternoon, we had it at her dads funeral last last year who was in the merchant navy and loved the song. Difficult one that but definite tick.

Last I think is about to come, Wolf Alice, the last man on Earth. Beautiful song, it's going to be a Biggie for me as the sun starts to go down behind the Other Stage stunning song...

Please excuse my rather juvenile humour but they just showed an aeroplane vapour trail shot during Nile on the BBC feed, and it was supposed to be a love heart, but it appeared upside down on the TV, so just looked like a massive nutsack. Brilliant, I am still chuckling to myself. Seriously need to grow up....

Saw Chic when they played Glasto in 2017. Scary that that was 8 years ago.....

Yeah chose them over Arctic Monkeys and Portishead whatever year that was. If I'd known Chic were going to end up touring and doing Glasto so much Portishead would have been a no brainer.

    • My fear with Madonna would be a setlist that botches the assignment, to be fair.
    • Big Fender fan but don't feel particularly churlish in suggesting Rein Me In is mid-tier. Still, when Dean comes out for it, it will clearly go off.
    • I always thought it distinctly likely she meant BST anyway
