Future Islands are the only headliner I’m really looking forward to but that’s great, loads of other stuff to check out and no main stage FOMO.

Would this require any change to the licensing application (if someone fancies a bit of detective work)?

Chris Hawkins announced on his show this morning that he’s DJing on the Thursday, so that’s one new name at least.

This is the only thing about this system that is really unfair, IMO.

I'd have Orbital down in the Meadow 10.45/11pm slot after the main stage finishes, ideally.

Sprints are on there so I got 1/5 right. 😄 Excited about Jane's Addiction and Future Islands but the rest of the lineup has lots of nice surprises.

She’s been pretty clear she’s not touring next year.

Honestly even if it is crap you’ll have such a great time. My wife was only bothered about a handful of artists (PSB, Mik Artistik, The Beths and Beans) and knew none of the headliners but she absolutely loved it.

I thought last year’s price was an absolute steal in the current market so it’s a hefty increase but trying to put it in that context.

It’s ok, I’m sure OP never goes to gigs, sporting events, food/drink festivals or any other large gathering given the disruption they cause for people.

My experience of the locals when trying to organise events in the local area is they’re the biggest load of moaning NIMBYs so I’m not at all surprised by this take. It’s four days, one of which ends early, and you have a year’s notice if you want to give it a swerve.

I really missed the old layout where you could walk around the back of the Lovell to where the old Mission Control tent was. It was also a shame that moving the Lovell stage forward meant there was less sound bleed to the campsites - it was always quite nice heading back to the tent in the afternoon for a bit but being able to hear the main stage. My guess is the revised site was down to ticket sales. If they are back to the old numbers next year, it would be great to keep Mission Control where it is now but move Nebula down to the old Mission Control site. It would spread the foot traffic out a bit and help a lot with sound bleed between the music stages.
