UsernameHere
Few undercard guesses from me. Some more hopeful than expectation but all possible/somewhat likely. Big Thief, Barry Can’t Swim, Kneecap, Caroline, Clipse, CMAT, Danny Brown, Little Simz, Blood Orange, Hot Chip, Viagra Boys, Ho99o9, Bob Vylan, Four Tet, Shame, Dijon, Billy Woods. brosch and MrTobs
ConfidenceMan
I've had a long few weeks in work. Was excited to log in here today and see the lineup, find some new faves and figure out if I can go back to BCN next year. And then I realised it's tomorrow. 😂 Oh well. Any other predictions or ideas to keep me engaged through my next long day in work?
chilirocker
I think Pixies might be the Wednesday headliner, not too big, not too small and I don’t know where they would play on the main lineup - as they’re not a traditional headliner anymore. RifleSmile
My poorly educated guesses for ten acts I think will def be there Kneecap, Lola Young, Yousuke Yukimatsu, The Cure, Big Thief, Gurriers, Self Esteem, Modeselektor, Ethel Cain, Chalk
xxialac
It amazes me in this age of AI and social media and given how many people must have seen the lineup, that it doesn't get leaked. festivalguy97 and Marty76 1

At least, the pool of possible (rumoured) headliners is definitely bigger than last year. I think we dont guess any better than last year, just that at this stage almost no other fests have announced and few tours are out wo we cant rule anyone out yet and every guess is as good as any

xxialac
Why do people still book VIP? It's way more expensive and really doesn't offer much of a better experience. They even got rid of that nice grassy VIP zone near the entrance (views to the old Primavera Stage) for the first time this year.

Had a facebook post from 2011 pop up the other the day that reminded me of the €1 for a small beer. They really want the Rockdelux magazine But yeah they got rid of that area plus one of the stands at Mordor this year too. I guess for Americans its "cheap". I'm surprised they haven't tried to improve it and charge more money as a result. Or even allow people to upgrade their ticket to VIP nearer the time
xxialac
Exactly, every year it seems to offer less and less to the point where it now feels like a huge waste of money.
branvan
Hey, you can order Pizza with a VIP ticket!!! 😁 but to be honest, i think it's not worth it anymore since the area beside the entrance and the in front of the stage zones have gone. If they would come back, I'd buy VIP again...

For me the main upsides are the easy entry (no queues, minimal frisking) and the central VIP bit at Mordor which was great for packed shows like Gorillaz or FKA Twigs where my gang wasn't particularly interested in being all the way upfront but still wanted to see from fairly close up and have handy toilets. It’s maybe unethical but possible to ahem get Primavera Pro which gives the first of those plus other benefits for barely more than standard ticket cost. pipan
As for the VIP, I tried it once for a day in 2018 (it was included in the price of a fancy lunch on the site) and the only good thing about it was that a few minutes before The National's set started I was able to get very close to the stage (in a now non-existent VIP area). Other than that, it was completely worthless for me. I remember watching Waxahatchee from the VIP area on the green hill and leaving it for the other "non-VIP" green hill next to it to get a more comfortable and better view. Since then I'm happy with my general ticket, with one exception - last year it was quite difficult to get tickets for some of the ciutat shows. I even ended up buying a ticket for Kneecap because I wasn't able to grab a free one (even though I had the "early bird advantage").
