  1. I am getting more and more anxious/super excited at the same time regarding the time table.. Friday I find quite relaxed with only Lana to see at Mordor for me, but Thursday and Saturday are brutal. Will be a great edition!
  2. Saw The Last Dinner Party last night. A little thin yet, but should be fine for a 45min early evening Ray Ban set. This years Wet Leg
  3. As solo shows vs. festivals has been a discussion here: Last summer was big already but the amount of solo shows we (Vienna, Austria) get this summer is insane almost. I have Smashing Pumpkins+Interpol, The National, Cat Power, Khruangbin, Air, QOTSA, Patti Smith, Fontaines DC, Placebo, The Smile, Einstürzende Neubauten on my list, all playing 4.000-10.000 cap venues. Plus another dozen German and Austrian acts. There used to be festivals for this.
  4. Rosalía 2023 (and 2019 tbh) DJ Koze 2018 Slowdive 2022 Lorde 2018 Janelle Monáe 2019
  5. As this topic has been discussed here: The Guardian has an article about big names vs. festivals. Aside from some UK specific factors, this goes for Primavera too I suppose https://www.theguardian.com/music/2023/dec/02/festival-organisers-sound-alarm-as-big-name-artists-shun-their-events?CMP=fb_gu&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwAR3wB07KMXKuk2UkQRyS0zPt14MuQ9HVb_6G5VmGtgmWCoMygBKvLJ1lROw_aem_Aa0c7M74KuxBNIGlEoat8Nl6e9eUvCveq-Rvi3RO7fVGwwZBLiG_MsmTOSziACoCWzc#Echobox=1701535523
  6. I saw SZA in London in the summer and it was amazing - among my very favourite shows this year (right up there with Rosalía @ Primavera and Bon Iver). She’s a superb live act, will be great fun!
  7. Funny, there are a couple of changes.. Mount Kimbie, Hannah Diamond, Kode9 and Eartheater also moved up
  8. It’s her first Spain gig ever, she’ll have a huge crowd certainly
  9. Julie Byrne, Ferran Palau, American Football, Voxtrot, Sofia Kourtesis, Hannah Diamond!
  10. Phoenix, Tropical f**k Storm, Ratboys, Maria Jaume, Stella Maris
  11. I think they only played her (fantastic) album with Rustin Man that had come out the year before. Pretty sure that won’t be the case next year tho
  12. Auditori is ways too small. I saw her ages ago at a festival in front of a 10k crowd - it works (very, very well). So excited to see her again 21 years later
