  1. Is it too soon to start looking at the long term weather forecast? 🫣
  2. Is it too soon to discuss 2025 lineup rumours? 😂 Only one month until I arrive. Feels like this month has gone really fast. Plus the weather here is so miserable right now, I can't wait to be in BCN
  3. Amazing thank you. Will make a note in my calendar to book when they're available!
  4. I arrive around 7pm on Tuesday 28 but want to try and catch Les Savy Fav as they're on at 10.30pm. Can you turn up late or will the venue turn people away after a certain time? I never had the time for Ciutat shows so this would be my first time attending!
  5. Haha yes you can tell when i last saw them. In 2012 so it has been a while for me 🙂
  6. Yeah this is really cool. I'll be honest I didn't think they'd be great when the lineup was announced, so I'm pleased to see this
  7. F1 calendar for next year is out. Primavera will clash with the Spanish GP (in Barcelona) - race is between May 30-June 1. Ouch
  8. Model/Actriz possibly. I don't really see any obvious breakout acts either though, not in the way that Fred Again did after 2022. Barry Can't Swim is similar but already quite high on the bill. Water From Your Eyes maybe?
  9. Yeah I would love this. They are really incredible live. I also saw Greg Puciato solo tour recently and he was great
  10. I can't believe it's next month!! So who is out at this point? One of the guys in Sandwell District passed away earlier this year so I'm not sure they will still play but there are two others in the group. Twigs has already been spoken about many times... Did I read that Razz will not host any Ciutat gigs? I see there is already another show on May 28... Razz is very close to where I am staying so I'm just being lazy here
  11. At what time do the ciutat shows begin usually? I arrive on the 28th around 7pm. Would love to have time to see les savy fav but by the time I arrive at my hotel it will probably be nearer 9pm
  12. No, I seriously doubt it. There are loads of artists doing arena tours in Europe around the same time as Primavera (J Balvin, Karol G, Taylor Swift of course) but there is no reason for them to step away from their tour to play a 90 min festival slot. If they were going to be at PS, they'd already be on the lineup.
  13. I don't really want to drag on this conversation but I wanted to add something. People often think that sexual assault must involve violence but this isn't always the case. Sometimes it's by someone you trust or someone you believed to be a good person. It is also possible to be sexually assaulted by someone you may have had a previous consensual encounter with. You don't achieve active consent by wearing someone down and asking them time and time again, despite them telling you no. The alleged victims are also very young - and while that isn't illegal, there is a very notable age gap between them and Win and an unhealthy power dynamic. He has never faced a trial or been found guilty and given the low conviction rate for sexual assault cases, I doubt he ever will. So who knows. But ultimately the truth will always come out either way.
  14. Depends if they even have the Pull&Bear stage in 2024. The Hyperdub and Hivern Discs takeovers will be at the Warehouse, Thursday and Saturday respectively. I'm not sure what will be there on Friday (probably I need to read the poster more) and then BR artists still to be announced... P&B stage had a packed schedule this year and I don't really see enough dance/electronic artists to fill it this year. There are a few and I'm sure they could make it work but different vibe with the artists - I don't see Sandwell District playing after Teki Latex as an example but who knows.
  15. I can honestly say it's not like that at all IRL. This is just a forum, everyone has an opinion, you can't please everyone and so on... but if you like the lineup then I highly recommend you go rather than being put off because some people have complained about a few names. The crowd has been great every time I've gone. There will always be complaints about the lineup but you forget about all of that when you arrive on the Thursday tbh.
  16. Yeah I mean the timings would work for sure. But I also think he's too big for ciutat venues. I'd be interested to see though cause it could be cool and unexpected... I wish they would annonce the ciutat gigs already
  17. Yeah I agree. Friday looks well-balanced, Thursday is busy but Saturday is off for me. Too many headliners and not enough smaller acts.
  18. Yes I love the optimism! I've found many new names (already really like the sound of Model/Actriz, Scowl and Gel) and so many more still to check out. Yesterday I was feeling a bit "eh, it's OK but missing something" but I think next year is gonna be a good one.
  19. Yeah this is clear to me. Plus so many complaints in 2022 that it was oversold/way too busy. Thursday wasn't great but imo it was fine on Friday and Saturday. Busy, yes of course it was. So what do people want? A huge lineup means you need to sell more tickets, which means more people. But people don't like that!
  20. I really don't think they'll announce any more names, certainly not big names. Maybe some more additions to the undercard. On popularity. A couple of people in my group are interested but none of them immediately jumped on it like they did in previous years. But from scanning social media, it looks popular with LGBT crowd although I imagine they'll wait for splits and get a day ticket.
  21. For me the lineup is missing "something" but I'm not sure what. Underwhelming is the right word. Considering all the rumours about Bad Bunny, Karol G, Travis Scott, Kylie, plus Depeche Mode last year I expected at least one big name. Lana and SZA are very popular but personally I don't see them and think "yeah, I need to be there", you know? But I'm still going! Based on other tour dates/albums/availability, I thought we'd see the Pet Shop Boys (again), Underworld, Orbital, Chemical Brothers, Soulwax, Jane's Addiction, Danny Brown, The Smile, even Death Cab although that was a push. But I like the lineup overall. Deftones was a surprise, didn't consider Vampire Weekend at all, and I'd written off Justice - again there were rumours but I didn't think they would be on the lineup. Sandwell District, Roc Marciano and Tim Reaper are a must for me from the undercard. Loads of new bands and artists to check out too. I think the vibe will be good, 2022 was too frantic at times so I hope next year is more chill and the usual Primavera we know. Idk I'm not super hyped right now but I know I will be next May. I already have an early bird ticket but don't think I'd pay 325 euros.
