  1. think you've nailed the general strategy for the weekend this year..
  2. Indeed lots of stuff in here I'm curious to see. Unfortunate (though logical) these are most if not all artists who are playing on Saturday, and therefore cannot help alleviate the real problem which is Thursday
  3. second release from her new album (Reaching Out) is also an absolute belter. Auditori would be perfect for this but given the quality of the new material, demand will be too high for the limited capacity
  4. Not that hard. Line up is so ZZZ, even Green Man this year puts this to shame.
  5. Got it. Hope you're wrong. I also saw them in that show back in 2015 and really enjoyed the roughness of it. I assume they've refined their stage antics since so a bigger stage might not ruin the experience though GM's main stage is definitely too big for them..
  6. I imagine they'll headline the Far Out stage which will be more apt for their performance and not the main stage
  7. Saw them a year ago at Green Man. They're OK but they ain't Wet Leg..
  8. what albums then should i be doing my homework on?
  9. Thursday's going to be a blood bath. Then Saturday. Friday remains fairly quiet
  10. I'd add Nala Sinephro who's Space 1.8 ambient jazz album is a strong contender for the Auditori. now listened to it 3 times since discovering the name on the poster and really digging it (a potentially perfect respite from the craziness of the weekend...)
  11. I think that's the "other" Stella Marris. Thanks f$#@ it's not them as they are truly horrendous
  12. don't know about big rappers but seeing freddie gibbs/madlib performing pinata is an absolute treat. also saw another interesting hip hop artist called roc marciano which is worth checking out. wouldn't say i am delighted but i am shedding no tears for the absence of massive attack who i've seen several times over the years and whom I have found to have been consistently diappointing (and miserable) live. PS has never been all about the headliners (even though they are usually pretty specular) but about their incredible undercard and ability to shed light on artists that I have not come across before. gotta say that having spent the last few hours digging through the line up, I am super excited. also find it funny that peeps are sad about the absence of j and k pop as i have the impression that when PS introduced this genre into the mix, there was such an outcry that they werent keeping it indie anough. same with PC. haters gonna hate i guess.
  13. Space Afrika and Rainny Miller collaboration could work amazingly in the Auditori
  14. "what did you feel"? are you guys taking the piss?
  15. an exercise in how to drag time and talk about nothing. just drop the damn poster!!
  16. so the countdown is misleading - it'll reach 0 when it's 10am wherever you are. not very international of PS but admittedly, they've had worse blunders. 55 minutes to go!
