Today I've gone from feeling confident about quite a few names on the lineup to now questioning every rumour. It's more fun this way tbh. Anyway I do think/hope we'll get a name or 2 that nobody has mentioned yet and with no tour announcement.

Same here. It all feels a bit too retro thus far

Who else would you put on the pop side? All the big pops stars like Doja and Ariana are doing stadiums now. Same with big hip hop artists unless they get Tyler and Gambino and Rocky

Lorde, Addison Rae, Jorja Smith, Raye, pinkpantheress and so on its not like these times are lacking big female pop names

Hmm same, the names that are being suggested are too obvious.  Hoping for something unexpected of some sort. No offence to the Lorde/Tame Impala fans but... that just ain't it for me

Raye is coming to Barcelona for a tour so shes out. Lorde is coming but she herself is not that relevant as she used to, as her last 2 albums flopped. Adisson Rae is maximum Twigs slot. Jorga Smith not that relevant as before. I think Pinkpantheress can be pretty high, her new songs are charting pretty well.
I think if you add all of those together then yes, you can have a big effect. But still as a trio, the pop girls this year were unstoppable. And it's not my opinion, it's the ticket sales that talk for themselves.

someone on reddit claiming to be an insider said it's going to be an epic release - whatever that means. Epic is pretty subjective

I remember the 2018 video of people screaming and almost crying when watching the line-up release video. Until today I don't know if they were reacting like this because of Arctic Monkeys or Migos.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the lineup will be great (as literally every year) but let's moderate our expectations.

Agree. Also in the past maybe 6 editions the only year that the sentiment on the lineup was almost unanimous was 2022. Every other year there's always a group who hates it and a decent percentage who are underwhelmed, but as the date approaches people warm to it. Happens every time. The day it drops a lot of people will be initially disappointed.

There is a leak that some of the artists that will be on PS poster on Thursday are: The Cure, Gorillaz, Nick Cave, Gracie Abrams, Clipse, Car Seat Headrest, Joni Mitchell, Rosalia, Lola Young, EYE, Titanic.

Take it with a grain of salt tho

P.S: Forgot about Portishead being also on the lineup.

Titanic?

2022 ended up being a massive outlier in terms of the actual festival experience, so bring on another "regular" PS lineup that gets us another typical great time.
