  1. Think I'm going to be entirely away from Mordor on Sat (bar Mitski possibly) if things play out as Clashfinder is predicting
  2. I turned LDR off, was a bit meh for me. Maybe that's her live schtick but it just felt a bit one dimensional and lacked something (heart maybe?)
  3. Anyone catch any of Coachella thus far? I saw Deftones, Justice and Vampire Weekend and I'm even more excited for Thursday now. Justice set was epic. Aside, but the crowd for Blur were embarrassing.
  4. I loved how quiet the Thursday night of last year felt. Happily have that again this Thursday
  5. Yeah really enjoying it, can see them attracting a decent crowd. I had thought they might be on Dice but 4 million monthly Spotify listeners (vs 50k for Gilla Band as a ref point) might dictate otherwise (not sure if that's due to murder on the dancefloor cover blowing up though?)
  6. Auditori and Boiler Room are on my first time lists for this summer. Just wondering what people's experiences have been getting into each venue? I'm not sure the capacity of either but are they a case of queueing early for an auditori show and just queueing generally for BR?
  7. cheers! That pull & bear stage was pretty hairy at times so glad they are spinning up a new electronic stage. Wonder where though...
  8. anyone listened to the Radio Primavera q&a thing yet?
  9. I watched the Iris video yesterday and oh my what a show. Cannae wait to see what they do next summer.
  10. Smaller pool to pick from for me (Wknd 1 '22 & '23) but here goes (in no particular order): Gorillaz '22 My Morning Jacket '23 The War On Drugs '23 Fred Again '23 Caribou '22
  11. Any reason as to the wait that you can think of?
  12. Little festive discussion... Dear Santa, For Christmas this year I'd like <what at Primavera next summer?> Love, The efestivals PS 2024 crew. I'll go with Sofia Kourtesis playing whilst the sun goes down on the Thursday evening and not clashing with anything monumental
  13. At least Thursday will be the quieter of the days (people wise) so getting about should be pretty straight forward. Remember being pretty shocked how close to the stage we were for Blur vs the previous year's madness for Tame Impala
  14. Jaisus so many posts about Arcade Fire/Win Butler. Glad they aren't booked or there'd be no end to this. Seeing Water From Your Eye's album featuring heavily in lots of album of the year lists. Have listened to it a few times but it's yet to click with me, same for Mandy, Indiana but will persist 🙂 Barry Can't Swim's album is easy on the ears ala Sofia Kourtesis.
  15. any new recommendations from people's undercard analysis?
  16. was Pull&Bear the one Daphni played late on?
  17. Here's my fantasy Thursday: 18:00 Julie Byrne (not sure where) 20:00 Amyl & The Sniffers (Turnstile slot) > 21:35 Vampire Weekend (Nx Worries slot) > 23:05 Deftones (New Order slot) > 00:30 Pulp (Halsey slot) > 02:05 Justice (Blur slot) Can see Sofia Kourtesis clashing with one of these welp
  18. Not that I think it's probable, but if she's mates with Dressner, is in the area and wants to bop on stage for The Alcott I don't think it's beyond the realms of reality. It's not something that would be publicised for the very reason of not having every Taylor Swift fan in Spain who couldn't get tickets to see her descend and completely alter the vibe of the festival.
  19. How many acts do you generally try to see/actually see per day?
  20. Interesting there are no gaps ala the Barcelona version
  21. no chance I'll be seeing the fireworks on Sunday morning but Thursday is STACKED
