2025 Headliners

If it were true, it’s seems to indicate to me they were struggling to sign up 3 strong headliners. I’d find it difficult to believe they’d actively choose a comedian instead of a top music act/band

I cannot believe that The 1975, Sam Fender and Olivia Rodrigo would all rule themselves out or turn it down to necessarily pave the way.

How would the sonics even work? The Pyramid is massive. Sound can get wavy when it's stripped down at the back. Comedy relies on timing. There's all these factors that makes me think it just wouldn't work.

This is why I don't think comedy works in arenas. I've seen a few arena comedy shows but it doesn't hit me in the sweet spot in the same way a great performer in a theatre or club does.

Bill Bailey can work in arenas, but that is heavily aided by the musical element that comes with his shows.

Seen Kevin Bridges in an arena and enjoyed it. Romesh Ranganathan got on fine in support too.

And it's hardly surprisingly but it would appear it was  @LoveAndTheft who started the fake rumours last time. Perhaps its time for them to take another break from trying to derail threads, or find themself taking an enforced break/placed on post moderation by the moderation team.
