Just finished it. Hugely enjoyable. Wish I'd got a non-Kindle version, though, as didn't realise there'd be so many pictures!

Ah amazing thanks! Hardback it is then. Just finished the Pete Doherty one and hugely back on the music autobiography train

My guess would be arenas with a day at APE to be announced later.

The question mark on that would be that previous reports have put the tour as being late spring / early summer - so if APE is staying in August then it comes much later.

Thats why I said about APE being announced later, if a April/May tour is a thing, then they do festivals between June - August, with APE selling on the fact they've still 'got it'.

This is what I think too. People above are throwing out venues far too big for Pulp nowadays.

They could definitely still play arenas. The likes of the Manics and James (and Morrissey) have all done arena tours in recent years, and a Pulp reunion would garner more hype than those acts announcing their tours did.

Would be interesting to see who ended up on a Pulp APE bill. Suede as second stage headliners? Baxter Dury? That would be tempting...

You certainly expect this to be more relevant for a Pulp comeback than Wireless Festival now, given I know they played there in 2011 on their first reunion tour when it was in Hyde Park (with Grace Jones, The Hives and Foals on the undercard, interestingly) and it's safe to say that event has pivoted into a different direction.

Is APE confirmed as remaining in an August slot for 2023?

Don't know whether it's confirmed, but there's been suggestions it is. Probably if it was moving back as early as May we'd have heard about it by now.

I was at that! Great day.
