There is a lot LESS rain on the Sunday before in this run, with the worst rain only between 12 and 6. It had been all day.

What an upgrade!

Then completely dry through to gates open, here's 9am Wednesday. Temps of 18.

Wednesday afternoon shows an extra dribble of rain, but you really wouldn't notice it. Highs of 20.

THURSDAY

Completely dry. highs of 21.

FRIDAY

Completely dry, highs of 18. But the rain of the 18Z has GONE.

SATURDAY

Completely dry, highs of 23.

A definite difference in the build of the high pressure in this run. Latest chart is on the right as usual, and that finger really hasn't come through. But will that stop the heat building the same way?

SUNDAY

Completely dry, highs of 26.

SUMMARY

A hot Sunday again, and a cooler Friday - but in general this has to be seen as another upgrade.

The rain on this coming Sunday is markedly reduced, and Friday of the festival is now dry.

Surely the GFS will through a bump in the road at some point?

If Sunday can drop a few degrees (6) then I'd take that.

It isnt my preference at all, but that Friday is Perfect.

Friday night might be chilly. Let's take 3 degrees off Sunday and add it to Friday.

These are the daily maximum temperatures for the festival indicated by these models so far, where available.   A lot of agreement, which is always good to see, except perhaps the Canadian GEM, which goes for a much warmer Fri/Sat/Sun.

It's all coming together nicely.  Agreement in the models for almost completely dry and temps in the low-mid 20s. Come the f**k on. 🥰

Met Office very non-committal so far, and in my experience it's often the most accurate.
