Ticket Delivery

This is madness that there's still no tickets in hands...

Still no change to the status on ours, but then I was very late buying, finally got on well after sold out message, so I'm expecting to be quite far down the line.

(my theory for last year was that the SEQ number, and thus print order, related to when a ticket was ordered, as in what time you got in on ticket day, with the exceptions being that those buying in resale were reissued the original purchasers SEQ number, and international / special tickets. Obviously this is horse sh*t though, there is no pattern.)

There’s actually one a few days back but no photo of that ticket .

Just checked mine for the first time. Sent to courier today.

Had an almost heart stopping minute or two when I kept getting details not recognised. f**k. I did pay it didn't I? Turns out I was putting in registration number not booking reference. My god the scenarios playing out in my head were frightening.

Just got dispatch email with tracking, fingers crossed for this week.

Me too, just arrived. Isn’t this sent Special Delivery, though? That’s supposed to guarantee next day delivery, isn’t it?

Next day from whenever it's handed over to Royal Mail, yes.

I keep pointing this out - and it was demonstrated last year as well - but a status of "dispatched" with See absolutely does not mean that it's been handed to RM. There usually seems to be at least a day or two delay.

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
