Not sure how excited I'd be and appreciate we're still at the rumours stage, but obviously we're all interested in a next announcement for better or worse.  So if there have been previous BST acts headlining the festival do we know how much time they leave between BST ticket sales (and/or selling out) before a Glastonbury announcement.

They sold out 2 nights at twickenham this year? or sometime recently so reckon it should sell out quick. probably next year. Its not like AM are waiting on anything either - although i guess as the 'boring' booking they will just come with the poster

For Pink & GS they're trying to sell out two dates too, maybe they don't need to try as hard for one GnR slot? (or they add a 2nd if it's going well, no idea).  £101 for GnR general tickets, yikes!  but Pink & GS are £95, I've not got the cash for gigs any more!

Headlining? No chance.

Playing? Seems fairly likely, it'd have to be one of Pyramid Sub / Other Headliner / Pyramid 3rd from top.

sadly not a chance. he hasn't done back to back dates since 2017 when he had to cancel the second one a few songs in for having fucked his voice.
