2022 Headliners

I’ve seen some pretty liberal uses of the word ‘headliner’. If Wolf Alice visited they probably said they were due to play the pyramid and they’ve interpreted that as headlining.

Probably sets them up well to be Billie’s sub or third down I’d say.

I’m not taking Somerset brandy as a source on this.

Suspect something being announced to day then?

Bit of a random time otherwise to put this message out with a picture from a while ago

Doubt they know anything other than WA mentioning it’s on their calendar.

Somerset Cider playing 4D chess there……

Knowing that they’re subbing Billie who will pull out due to another Variant meaning they’ll get the Florence bump up

I think after last night they would line up Dave if they lost a headliner. He’s free all weekend and smashed it last night.

Melvin as director would understand.

Admittedly it's odd but the Burrow Hill folks have been involved with the festival long enough to understand the difference between 'headlining a stage' and 'headlining the Pyramid'.

If the picture was taken years ago I think it’s likely the info has come from the festival (Emily follows Mary on Instagram - not to go all Matt42) rather than the band.

It’s obviously got lost in translation somehow though.

    • I'm 59. It's not so much the music as the camping/late night chaos I've grown out of at R+L. If I was still local to Leeds I might still be persuaded for a day ticket if the lineup was to my taste.
