Vaccine roll out will be a massive success and all will soon be forgotten and forgiven for Bojo and he'll go on to be the best PM ever.

This is quite likely with the clap for Boris/they’re trying their hardest gang.

I was in a different room but from what I heard of the briefing today it sounded positive? And Van Tam played a blinder with his Boston United programmes on the bookshelf and ‘overs’?

Anything else of any note?

Or lazily dismissed as a right wing position, as happened here not long ago. ;)

Apologies - passive aggressive tit-for-tat is way too tempting in an online handbag-battle.  For what it's worth, I don't think there was much danger of me convincing anyone you were on the far right.

Worryingly this is one example thats getting reported... I dread to think of the times he's done similar things and people have just bowed under pressure. Its frightening really.

It's Trumpian - a horrific abuse of power.

All governments need scrutiny and the moment you decide as leader of the country to threaten people unless they bend to your will, you are no better than a tinpot dictator.

Fucking hell, that's one of the worst things Johnson has ever done (and there's some stiff competition).

I'm still dooming the country to years of economic ruin+international irrelevance along with failing to act fast enough to impose disease control, resulting in thousands of unnecessary premature deaths again over this weeks crap. But for anyone else, I'd agree, as you say the competition is strong.

He really is an awful prime minister.

The scariest thing is that he'll absolutely get away with it & it'll be dismissed as a storm in a teacup.

Christ what a shit show. We’ve had prime ministers who did things I totally disagreed with, but none quite guy as useless and incompetent. We have to hope these self owns will start to register with the public. All he had to do was be a 5/10 prime minister and he’d be fine with the majority he had, but he’s managing to score so many own goals it’s borderline hilarious.

Normal: A minister gets accused of breaking the ministerial code, a senior civil servant is appointed to investigate, if the SC finds a breach of ministerial code, the minister resigns.

    • Hey everyone! My friend and I are heading over from Sweden to Tramlines this summer. We had our eyes on a bunch of different festivals in the UK, but since most of them sold out before we even knew if we’d be able to make the trip, we finally settled on Tramlines. Why Tramlines, you might ask? Well, because we’re absolutely crazy about British music, and finding a festival like this (where you also don’t have to camp, a huge plus) made it impossible not to buy a ticket. The fact that I’ll also get to see The Enemy after beeing a fan for 19 years didn’t hurt either.   Since the app doesn’t work over here… is the Clashfinder schedule 100% accurate? What’s the venue like, and what does the map look like? Which sides of the stages are best to stand on? How long does it take to walk between stages? What are the prices usually for food and drinks? Is it easy to get to the festival from town? And is it easy to get back into town? Is it allowed to walk around with a beer anywhere in the venue, or are there those stupid fenced-off bar areas? As you can tell, I need all kinds of info, so please share your best tips and tricks to make this the best festival experience possible.  I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance! 😃
    • A whole year of this!  What a time to be alive! This is going to be an incredible playlist.
    • Sorry matey.  Always a nightmare when you have a plan and something scuppers it.   Happy myself, fills a nice little gap for me. Lucky so far really.     I’d have preferred an alternative too to break up the 21 pilot set but shan’t complain
    • Happy with the name, unhappy with what it did to the lineup. Now I have to choose between Florence Road and Beirut 😞 and still no alternative to 21p.
    • Odd and rare for RW indeed! I even remember reading in the past that one of the reasons for certain bands not appearing there, were similar demands being rejected. It’s weird that they play after Gorillaz and even more weird that there won’t be an alternative. All they had to do was push Pixies to later.
