Kendrick Lamar - Would you be there?

  1. 1. Now listed as a SR - Will you be watching if he's headlining?

    • Yes - Definitely, regardless of who else is on the other stages.

    • More than likely - Depending on strength of the clashes on other stages.

    • Unlikely - Know a couple of songs but there would probably be something else on you'd watch instead.

    • No - Not a fan so will be elsewhere

Continuing to overanalyse that picture: I wonder, if it does turn out to be a double album with both of them being stylistically different (which the album title hints at), if it was originally a single album and supposed to be released in 2020 when he was originally supposed to headline but when everything got cancelled/delayed because of the pandemic he just decided to keep working at it and turn it in to something bigger.

Needless to say I’m hyped as fuck for both the album and his headline set. I kinda hope we don’t hear anything from this album before the full thing is released, or if we do hear anything then it’s just The Heart pt.5 that isn’t even on the album.

Yeah I saw this briefly pop up on my mine.

Good to hear - a part of me was fearing that it was some kind of Twitter-wide troll that everybody decided to get in on. Should hopefully have that to look forward to tomorrow then!

This is so good. Absolutely love that funky soul beat and hope we get more stuff like that on the album, which I still can’t quite drill in to my head that we’re getting this week. Let’s fucking gooo!

Jesus fucking Christ, he's in an entirely different league to anyone else in the game - there's so many layers to this. He's starting to get a legitimate claim on the 'GOAT' crown - especially if the release Friday lives up to expectations.

    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
    • Ultimately Glasto is just part of the festival circuit, however special we may think it is. The vast majority of its headliners have done many others
    • From Magyar’s FB:   ”Our country's energy and water supply is stable. As of today, voluntary consumption reduction is no longer necessary. The turbine at the Paks power plant is generating stably. Thanks to precipitation in Austria, the water level of the Danube will temporarily rise by 20–30 centimeters. Thank you, Hungary, for the unprecedented national unity shown in recent days! We have much to be proud of, and much to carry forward into the period ahead.”
    • I hope it stays under £400.  A lot of us aren't flush with cash.  Charities are great but do they need £1 mil (I jest)
    • You're not wrong - but i still don't like it!  F5 forever
