Only my son from our group managed to get a booking page (mobile on 4G after about 13 minutes). Inputted all the details clicked Buy Tickets and it froze. Was hoping that the transaction might have gone through, but no email as yet. Devastated ?

4 groups out of 7 today, 3 people out of 3 on Thursday.

I got the coach tickets for the 3 on Thursday, didn't get past the holding page today, most of the time, wasn't even getting that.

Got 5 for our group. I didn't get past the queue page, but husband got through for us after about 15 mins. I always used to be able (somehow) to get through multiple times, but something changed for the 2019 sale. Husband however has got through each time - for years - on his school laptop (not exactly high spec!). Didn't manage to get through a second time for another 2 of our groups, who failed to get tix.

I got through to Buy Tickets as well - timed out 3 times, and then threw me back to Confirm page - got back through that again - sold out. Gutted.......other group failed as well, 0 / 10 for us

So the spread in this poll looks pretty shit - anyone remember what it was like last year?

Can’t find a poll for last year after a quick look, there’s a long thread but it would take ages to do a count.

Yeah it’s shit, but I guess comparing to the overall ticket buying public it’s probably better results than average. If you were to believe there’s really 2 million trying this year it’s way better than average. Glastothingy Twitter for coaches was 80% failed.

Sorry it didn’t work out for you.

Cheers! Presume you were lucky? Everyone has to miss out at some point and it's not my first time so I've come to terms with it easier than I did in the past.

Our group got through to a booking page three times in total, twice we put all the registration details in, clicked through to the payment page, put all the details in, pressed “buy now” and it crashed - refreshing did nothing and pressing ‘back’ took us back to the holding page. Very frustrating. However third time is a charm and eventually we managed a successful transaction, meaning 6 of us are going, the other 3 are all trying for the resale. Exciting for the 6 of us but very frustrating for the others as if the system had worked properly we’d all be going.

Yes, lucky, reliance on others, I haven’t got my own ticket for at least 3 years now.

Managed to get 6/12 in the coach sale (not my group).

Had a couple of extras want to try for tickets today so had to try and buy for 11. Got 1 group of 6 in (my group) and I got close to getting the last 5 theirs, too. Entered all their numbers and pressed proceed but the website kept dying. It came up as sold out just after that.

12/17 in total but 12/12 of the original group we were trying for over both coach and general sale.

I was expecting these results to look much worse if I'm honest. I bet if you polled everyone who tried the results would be much lower. Proves that while it's down to luck, it helps to be on the ball and ready for it, so I'm not surprised efesters did better than the general public.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
