Tbf that says Summer and includes Smashing Pumpkins who are touring here until middle of June. I expect the US Summer tour would start end of June or in July.

Throwing some of my wishes into the pot: Alkaline Trio Rise Against Frank Turner The Flatliners Youth Fountain (again yes but low down this year so needs a bigger slot) Mayday Parade Taking Back Sunday Manchester Orchestra Sam Russo Laura Jane Grace/Against Me! Atleast 4 or 5 of the above would probably be enough for me to get a ticket I think.

Would The Used play that low down, or even be invited back after last time?

Alkaline Trio have a new album out next year, could be a possibility!

Alkaline Trio have more Spotify listeners than The Interrupters, not by much tbf but still I think more people know them.

Definitely feels like an off year.

The Gaslight Anthem are doing 2000 Trees in 2024 so I guess that rules them out!

They did Sunday afternoon in 2019 on the Other stage, think they'd still be sub or third down on Other in 2024.

They played the show before Slam Dunk, not the festival itself.

All this talk about the single day event before the festival has me wondering, would The Gaslight Anthem play that rather than the main festival? Have played Ally Pally in the last so certainly big enough, or used to be atleast.

With Bruce Springsteen rumoured to be back over in the UK in June, I can 100% see Gaslight Anthem doing some shows around that time. They've got a song with Bruce now so a support slot on his tour makes even more sense than before. Can imagine them doing an album tour over here in early 2024 then coming back and doing Slam Dunk & Bruce's shows in May/June. As for other acts in 2024? Wouldn't be surprised if Busted play again. Crossing everything that Rise Against finally play too! See Jimmy Eat World getting mentioned alot and whilst I love them, it's too soon since their last headline slot, especially considering their relevance appears to be fading. However, they're currently touring with Manchester Orchestra, have they ever played? Finally, a complete wildcard wish is Apologies, I Have None - that would 100% guarantee a purchase from me!

Youth Fountain (obviously, given my profile pic...), Spanish Love Songs, The Menzingers, Billy Talent and Enter Shikari are the big ones for me!

Ah my bad, forgot about that! Wouldn't mind seeing Joyce Manor added tbh.

With the way the line up is going, wouldn't be too surprised if Hot Water Music come to Slammy. Still holding out for Gaslight Anthem to make an appearance!

Can't see Menzingers & SLS clashing or even being on separate stages tbh. Would be fully expecting SLS to play right before The Menzingers.

The Gaslight Anthem suggested a few times now, do we really think they'd do it? Can't see em doing anything less than headline slot if they do. Put Against Me! on before them and I'll be happy!

Only allow people to attend 3 out of 4 years (randomly) to allow new blood the chance to get in. You see people going 25 years in a row and think how is that fair? It's so difficult if you've just got two of you trying for tickets when there are long established groups of 30+ who have been going for so many years in a row.

Whilst this sounds like an obvious and sensible idea on paper, when they did it 2019 with Frank Turner it was absolute carnage. People jumped over the fences and got injured trying to get in. The Park is surely suitable for a Thursday evening show right? It's not loud at all as you can't hear it properly from the hill.

Anyone else get the impression Charli XCX is miming a fair amount of her set?
