Missed out on resale tickets so I’m hoping to get a place volunteering with oxfam (unless by some miracle I win one of the ticket comps!). Can anyone, who has got a last minute oxfam place in the past, advise what kind of time they managed to get them? From what I’ve seen previously, people tend to get them during the day. Just trying to work out if it’s still worth refreshing the page at eg 9pm…

Haha I saw something similar but it was someone in the one next to me gripping the bottom on my side. The temptation to tickle their hand was strong but I thought whatever they were in the middle of needed optimal concentration so decided against.

I was EE in the past but not this year so it’s good to know it wasn’t just cos of that! I wonder if it contributed to more people milling about at the back of stages waiting for friends before heading into the thick of the crowds, and making it seem busier. We definitely held out at the back to meet up at “landmarks”, for example at the front of ribbon tower before wet leg. And yeah I also didn’t meet up with a few over the weekend who I wasn’t camped with due to it. First world problems I know haha but I only really mentioned it as it seemed so much worse than other years (went 2012-2017 previously).

Phone signal? That being poor and crowds (seeming) a lot busier than usual made it much harder to get in touch with friends to meet before sets this year

I’m needing to get from Newcastle to Leeds on the Tuesday evening for our coach down overnight. Had a look on Trainline and there are still quite a few services running and available to buy… think there is still a chance they could be cancelled?

Oh nice that’s good to know Ah man that sounds lush. I was just worried it might’ve been a bit like some non camping Uk festivals where’s it’s pretty much all groups of people. Though I guess most of them are day fests so it’s a different feel

Slightly off the topic of set times but a question for those who’ve been before. What’s the vibe like when going to sets on your own? I’ve felt totally fine going solo for certain acts (eg at Glastonbury) if my friends are wanting to see something else but just wondering if it’s a similar feeling at primavera. Cheers
