Bixer
Thing I've always wondered - do these celebs camp with the rest of us plebs, or do they go off somewhere else? On paper I assume if they're in the festival like the rest of us, they must slum it like the rest of us, but then if word gets out that so and so celebrity is staying in that particular tent, surely they're at risk of unwanted visitors? Maybe they just get escorted in and out each day to a hotel of some kind nearby?

As far as I can tell, camped in the more expensive areas behind stages (judging by our friends who pay £££ for industry tickets and also camp there). Of course, I could have just not recognized them.
Quark
Think it depends on the individual in some cases. Pretty sure it was on here I read tales of people camping next to Suggs and his family in the main camping areas one year.

Doug85
I didn't see Grimshaw personally but my mate made a point of shouting "Grimshaw's a c*nt" every time we walked by the BBC studio

There were a few celebs camped behind the SE corner in a variety of tents, teepees and caravans by vehicle gate 3a, right at the end of the railway line and to the left ? this included Bez, Keith Allen, Sean Paul and Lizzo, which is an extremely bloody weird mix of people ?? Winslow Leach
I remember one year someone saying they were camped next to Suggs and his family in with the punters.
CaledonianGonzo
Really hope that Lizzo and the Big Girls took it off the dial in the Unfairground until sunrise.
4519dennis
EE VIP area is south of main house on Park Farm enclosed by hedges - assume it is the garden to the house. Jorja Smith performed. Will Poulter, David Beckham, Tilda Swinton, Prof Green all spotted.

Think I recall Suggs saying on stage in 15 or 16 they were camped in with the peasants and there was such a squad of them making such an unholy noise that a few of the people around them had lifted their tents and moved in when they woke up one morning
jow95
Saw a very lost looking Paul Foot deciding which direction to go on the railway track just above the toilets at the bottom of Pennard, a minor celeb but that was it for this year unfortunately

Between the two main stages there's loads of winnebago campers and top of the range campers and trailers.. Apparently not all of the artists stay but celebs stay there.. I've been back loads and never seen anyone but then I don't really bother looking.. Until now when I have think oo I should have taken more notice.. Because I'd have loved to meet some of the people on this thread.. I met a singer in the wutang clan a few years ago at a t shirt stall.. He was nice enough to sign a shirt I brought for a friend who for some strange reason likes them llol

Also saw Jupitus lying down in West Holts before Acid Mothers Temple.

I reckon there must have been 30 or so of them ... and I bet they're not cheap!

There was also a girl off the telly that I recognised in front of us at Jorja Smith but couldn't recall the name. I was behind Shura watching Black Midi Friday morning with a couple of her band mates. She said excuse me as she walked past so basically we're best friends now. Copperface
I met Joff Oddie, guitarist from Wolf Alice, getting off the Castle Cary coach with his pop up tent and sleeping bag. He asked the way to the hospitality portacabin for the wristband but was just just apparently camping normally. Had a quick chat - really nice unassuming bloke.
