The Download Pilot thread is making me extremely jealous of the lucky few going to Donington today. If all goes well this weekend there's no reason to hold R&L back, is there?

On that basis if festivals are to go ahead they'd have to do testing. Melvin Benn's interview yesterday about Latitude was upbeat so he must be feeling alright about R&L

If 19 July doesn’t go ahead then you’d definitely think so. Unless I’m wrong the 80k+ at R&L each day will be the largest proper gatherings of people since March 2020? They’d surely want to keep an eye on that

I am still optimistic about July given the news about Latitude this morning and furthered by the news of the grand prix having a full capacity (one higher than attendance of R&L) test event in July. I think were in for a good summer.

I am so jealous of those at Download now, really sorry that I didn’t make more of an effort to go, especially as I’m nervous of Bloodstock and Reading going ahead.
