  1. I'm literally at barrier in the Barn waiting for Turnstile. Now I have to choose between TS and alt-J wtf
  2. Anyone seen a festival shirt with the bands playing on the back like you get for all the UK festivals? We couldn't see any like that at merch
  3. Also sitting outside my tent enjoying the sun. Roll on the Dead South and Fontaines!
  4. I was into him from his first release (so bias towards his early stuff). Recommend the songs; Corduroy Dreams Uno Best Friend Sunflower Television Never Enough Happiness Apricot Princess is his best release by far
  5. Sam Fender has cancelled more shows than he's played in the last 2 years
  6. Coheed and Gaslight are good shouts, so my prediction is Coheed, Gaslight and Frank Carter. Imagine The Mars Volta though
  7. Can't see how they'd be okay for Friday if they're not okay for today. Who's around and could replace them? Muse are free that day
  8. They're subbing Trees - so the same size as Creeper and Turnstile. Third down MSW would be lucky
  9. Please could someone tell me what 'setlist' is in Flemish and French? Google wasn't very helpful
  10. I have read so much RHCP slander on here over the years and was expecting to be disappointed. But tonight I saw them for the first time and they blew me away. Sounded tight (even Anthony), had good energy and looked happy to be there. No reason they won't be booked again in the next few years.
  11. Basically what Andy said - saw FOB in 2018 and this was almost the same set, minus all the rubbish new stuff, and Weezer were exactly as you would expect (I still can't tell if their songs are bad or good, but I enjoyed them). My girlfriend legit jumped everytime they went off! We were basically barrier so they were bloody loud!
  12. Listen to this truly awful version by Yungblud. It makes you want to delete your entire existance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-nMvghXXd8
  13. Saw Green Day tonight and wasn't even that excited about them, but they were amazing and have so many bangers that I'd forgotten about. Any chance they'd headline again?
  14. I saw them at the Kentish Town Forum in London last week and they were excellent. Think they just need their own crowd and a dark room tbh
  15. The Clashfinder is now updated to official timings! If you printed the one on the website, you got a version with the official times on. I've updated the Clashfinder to these, so it's all correct pending the organisers messing around again. https://clashfinder.com/s/2ktrees2022
  16. The gigs were outright cancelled though, not postponed
  17. ngl it read like a copypasta, and reading it back, it sounds even more like a copypasta But I do have a soft spot for Robbie and wouldn't be 100% against Harry headlining. If Dua Lipa was seriously being considered, no reason he couldn't
  18. I mean as someone who has amazing parents I couldn’t care if I’m like them in 20/30 years. And I couldn’t give a shit if Robbie Williams was playing I’d scream that shit. And you can say it’s “cringe” but if Rock DJ comes on in the club it gets a singalong and Angels is requested in a pub it’s an emotional tune with the lads. I think you’re underestimating what and it may be the minority of us younger people like. I’m entirely sure everyone I know would rather sit and listen through all of Robbie’s discography than any drill/grime or whatever the cool shit is nowadays. the point in trying to make, is Harry may not produce his albums, but he’s undeniably a brilliant artist and performer, and has songs that wouldn’t seem out of place at Reading when we’re predicting Dua Lipa every year. If people like Mabel, Anne - Marie and Years and Years can perform then why the hell can’t Harry Styles, especially when’s he got songs like Kiwi in his back pocket And in terms of the aunt or uncle I thing, at least I’ll be fucking cool, I will die on this Harry hill 👨🏻‍🦲 and forever stand by him coz I think his music is proper class. Unfortunately he doesn’t fit this so notorious “rock festival”. And if whoever I’m with spring cleans to Harry, then a ring may soon follow 🖕🏼
  19. Here's hoping. Was at his comeback show and it was a belter
  20. They better bring back 3 sites if this is the lineup. It'd be so clash heavy I'd need to go to 3 days to see all the bands I like
  21. I have a love/hate relationship with Weezer. Seeing them at Hella Mega and excited for them, but anytime I listen to them I want to turn them off My 2023 predictions: Headliners = Rise Against & Frank Carter, and BMTH to do what YMAS did this year
  22. How tf is Holly Humberstone touring Brixton, Manchester Academy and Rock City? I saw her supporting Rhys Lewis in 2019 at Brudenell and didn't think too much. Big industry push?
  23. Also, wtf was Zummo's set?! Did he really just play drums along to a track for half an hour? I watched for 2 mins and that was enough
  24. Went to both days. Undecided which site I like more. South was a better layout and more walkable, with better sound (esp on Rock Sound stage, I saw Yours Truly and Set It Off both days and they sound awful up North and great down South). But I like the hills for good viewing positions up North. Saw bits and pieces of probably 40 sets over the two days. Best bands were Alexisonfire, Hot Mulligan, The Wonder Years, Silverstein and Caskets. Honourable mentions to Mom Jeans, Yours Truly, Hot Milk, Dropkick Murphies, Knuckle Puck, TSSF, Electric Callboy and Counterparts.
