  1. £190 for 4 days is still pretty solid. Music goes from 11-11 (5-11 on Wednesday). So 42 hours of music for £190 is great value - £4.50 per hour (and we spend every hour watching whatever's on). Loads of gems throughout the day too - all about the undercard.
  2. Agreed, this year we only watched Soft Play and last year we only watched Thrice and a bit of Idles. Undercard is way more important at Trees for me. Same for Slam Dunk too imo though
  3. Saw Phoebe twice last year and just saw boygenius this week. Although I prefer her solo stuff, boygenius were way better live and I think way better suited to a festival. Not sure if Phoebe is suited to playing main stage at Leeds, just the music style wouldn't work for a non-plussed crowd.
  4. Recovery is his biggest song tbf. Still sad to see the sh*t crowd though. I've seen him 10 times and he feeds off the crowd
  5. High Vis - smiths instrumentals with mild hardcore-esque vocals Graphic Nature (if you like heavy nu-metal) Joey Valence and Brae - the Beastie Boys reincarnated Fat Dog - another Windmill band (like black midi, BCNR etc) who have just released thier first song Lucia and the Best Boys - synth pop, saw them support Wolf Alice
  6. Wait you updated it even though you aren't going? And I thought I was dedicated for doing my highlights even though I'm not going!
  7. Idk they've done a UK fest in 23 (DL) and 22 (2k Trees), and a tour in 22, so maybe they'll not come over next year? Probably start writing a new record soon.
  8. Also, I emailed support to ask about bike parking. Apparently there is none and they 'don’t advise arriving by bike'. All the promotion of sustainability and the only way to get to the site is motor vehicle. When I went to Werchter, there were tonnes of cycle spaces and tonnes of bikes parked there.
  9. When do we reckon set times will be released?
  10. I'm gonna chance it and wait until the set times come out. From then I'll know how much I'd spend. But if it hits £150 I'd probably go whatever.
  11. WTF is this thread. Can you all just stop arguing?
  12. That's obviously a bit... Same song every time
  13. @thatTFBguy@therefusedIn the UK again after 5 years!
  14. Just got back from 2023 and thinking about possible headliners for next year: Don Broco Nothing But Thieves A US band like Alkaline Trio or AFI
  15. Pretty sure you can. Campervans are outside the main area and we can get in/out whenever
  16. Yeah once you learned you could push past the entrance, there was tonnes of space on the other side. Same issue today at Leeds too. I also got barrier for Creeper yesterday (and got a setlist!). A nice group also held my spot for me while I went to the toilet (I got barrier for Menzingers too and was desperate)
  17. Wet Leg, Nothing But Thieves, Sleep Token, Don Broco and Rina Sawayama are my best guesses. But see Sleep Token and Broco headlining Download instead
  18. It's pretty hilly and all grass unfortunately. Dickies stage is at the bottom of a hill with Kerrang/Key Club at the top of it, and there's a hill in between the Dickies and Rock Scene/Knotfest stages. It's quite a walk down to the Rock Scene/Knotfest stages.
  19. I reckon AW is gonna be very popular and you'll struggle to get a good view if you're not there at the end of the set before
  20. So I reckon: Amazon (Shikari) = Cockpit Dickies (Offspring) = Stage next to DIY, not open for LAL Knotfest = DIY Key Club L+R = Dork presents L+R Kerrang L+R = Rolling Stone One stage each end of Rolling Stone then?
  21. If DIY tent = Kerrang tent, and it's the same size as last year, I feel like it's too small for some of the bands there (Menzingers, Creeper, Yellowcard)
  22. North stages look similar to last year
  23. You ever heard of Led Zeppelin? These are their kids
