imagine the 3 being so shit they have to book 6. They didn't even do that in 2018

This is the point I’ve tried to make all week.

This is R&L. It was never going to be 6 blockbusters. If three of today’s headliners could headline outright why waste money on the other 3.

Its going to be 6 bottom of the barrel options. I think you should all get a drink in before it goes down.

Everyone tell me what is their drink of choice to stomach this.

Has to be!

it won’t be J Hus, no way. If anything it will be Skepta or potentially Kano? Skepta had a big reception to his album last year which was class. Kano or Giggs are a shout as well.

Can’t be more disappointing than this, I remember staring in shock thinking the Reading Twitter had accidentally posted a fake

Liam Gallagher, Royal Blood, Travis Scott, Dua Lipa, Dave, Halsey.

We still have an optimist!

If they can bag Liam and Travis why bother with 4 other headliners? Those two are massive.

THINK BOTTOM OF THE BARREL.

Dude if they have Billie, Liam, Travis in the bag why bother with three other headliners?

Billie and Travis are two huge ticket sellers

I'd take Liam Gallagher and Dua Lipa as two headliners, providing they arent clashing. I usually like the undercard anyway- went to last year on the strength of Foos and a solid undercard for me (I'm talking going to FR stage territory, and not being interested in any of the R1 headliners) and ended up with 1975 and Peace on FR as my unexpected highlights, and had a brilliant chilled weekend.

So with more than one of the headliners to actually look forward to before the fest, and a few other bands like cribs, frank turner etc throughout, I'll be happy. But I am into quite basic music so it wont take much to make me happy!

    • The first half of that game was cracking but then I fell asleep at half time. Maybe that's just the momentum of things.

    • A win is a win but it was a very poor game with only 4 shots on target in the whole game. Scotland obviously handed a massive bonus with Brazil and Morocco drawing but I don't think either of them will be too worried.
