Together Again, sold nearly a million copies in the UK.

I Youtubed it. Yeah I definitely remember that song. Maybe she ran out of time?

She actually sang many songs that weren't even released as singles. Songs unknown to the general audience even in Asia or North America where they know almost every Janet's song.

Not one song from Velvet Rope which would reduce the amount of hits. It just ended up being a shortened version of the sets she did in Las Vegas. Maybe it was just easier to change the template that was already set instead of presenting something totally different.

Janet Jackson is trending at No. 1 on Twitter in the UK, and at No. 2 worldwide. Fantastic reviews by the Guardian (★★★★☆), NME (★★★★☆), and the Independent.

Is 4/5 really fantastic these days?

Oh she's certainly trending on Twitter, but not necessarily in a good way

Watching at home before I saw this thread and definitely thought she was mimeing a lot of the time. Still, I felt she put a fair bit of energy into the dancing and quite enjoyed it (I am not a Janet fan and only know perhaps one song).

I love it when the super fans turn up, if @jntsrb wasn't posting then there'd be nothing to see here.

I doubt I'll be there, but I hope she smashes it.

I hate it when the super fans turn up, if @jntsrb hadn't posted then I would not have been tempted to see her.

I was there, and she was absolute shite.

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
