BMTH just tweeted that announcements are coming soon

Yeah guessing Tuesday for the full Weekend 2 drop. Looking forward to it. Hope BRM are on the Bon Iver day

Will be my first time at this - heading over for Friday and Saturday. Brilliant lineup.

Couple of newbie questions:

- Any good after parties usually on?

- What's it like getting back into central London after transport-wise?

- Any particular recommendations on where to grab an Airbnb?

I managed to get an Airbnb near site, there's quite a few places normally.

And getting into central London is normally alright, I've been to a few things and Victoria park over the years and normally just walked to Mile End tube and got it from there, can be busy though

They had a few official after parties last year, although I didn't go to any so dunno if they were any good. Maybe they'll do the same this year.

Other than Nick Cave Sunday, didn't struggle with getting back last year. I think the tube closed early that day because they were working on it and I only just managed to catch the last train. But if you're only going on Friday and Saturday you should be fine.

No idea about Airbnbs

from a well-connected source - tho said with a certain amount of uncertainty - I'm hearing Mumfords for the last day.

This will of course be much maligned here and it won’t particularly appeal to me but you can’t argue with that in terms of the stature of act. They did well last year but they’ve really arrived now (especially if this one does come through).

Had a few tabs open and thought I was in a Glastonbury tab for a second

Aye, not my cup of tea but a solid booking if true.

Tbh, they could have tame impala support mumfords

Tame Impala are headlining Coachella this year and headlined a festival in London with a similar capacity. There is no chance of this happening.

EDIT: Just seen that Citadel's capacity is quite a bit smaller than APE, but the point still stands. Tame Impala are not supporting Mumford, simple as.

    • You can judge who you want to get a high slot next with the Lolla headliner performances from the weekend. Cause people think Tate Mcrae is the best thing out there for some reason. And some other cool acts, plus you can laugh at how bad the camera work is cause disney is cheap.
    • Fontaines getting the honour of the last ever BBC Maida Vale session going out on 6 Music shortly.   No Glastonbury relevance (for now.. ), just thought I'd mention it for those who are interested 😎
    • Had a wonderful booking in one of our primary woodland venues this weekend. A 30th birthday arranged by a load of musicians and entertainment industry professionals. It was primarily a folk oriented event, however I noticed one young woman who didn’t seem to fit dress and appearance wise. Turned out to be Frenetic, one of the top up and coming UK Jungle and DnB DJ’s.    Anyway Saturday night turned into an EDM session and I got to do a set. Slightly nervous considering who was there, it was great and Frenetic loved my set. She’s closing Data Mine at Shambala this year.
    • they got lucky and the thunderstorms stayed away. It was still wet of course. Some of those boot sucking puddles did emerge from what a couple friends saw who were there.  Post fest aerial also below   and also a sapphic mud wrestling contest?
