Not hard to see where the money had gone there and they're going to clash them both. I still think Cream not clashing Tiesto and SHM at Creamfields isa. Dream scenario.

Any insight into bet place to stay over nearby? I imagine the tram back into the city centre will be rammed

Ive never been - but live not to far away-  Stockport is actually a lot closer geographically, than Manchester City Center  and would be a cheap ish uber and probably cheaper hotels (though this is a guess) There are actually a lot of hotels further south as its close to the airport but i suspect these will be pricey and not a lot of stuff around the area.

If you are wanting to stay in Manchester City center the tram is slow and will be busy.....   But Id suggest getting the tram the opposite direction which i guess will be less busy go the few stops to the airport which has a train station which runs regularly back to the city center and takes 10 mins (with a stop in Didsbury)  (this train line goes very late - possibly all night).  I recon this will be less stressfull

I think they are running shuttle buses this year so that might be your best bet, once you get onto the princess parkway it’s a straight route into town.

I've never been to the royal albert hall. Does any one have any tips on seating?

Avoid the upper tier at all costs.

And the Gallery above it.

Anywhere at the RAH is great except the least central upper tier (closest blocks to the stage like P and Y).

I don't like floor seats or standing there much that's preference for tiered seats.

I absolutely love the stalls seats closest to the stage as it feels like you're basically on the stage. But some people don't like being so far off centre.

This is from Sigur Ros block M last year.

Thanks both, we’ve ended up settling on the Big Green Coach from across the Pennines, £40 return. Too much hassle and too pricey to stay in Manchester city centre on a bank hol weekend!

We did Big Green Coach last year for Fontaines from Leeds and was overall good experience. Using them again for Cure and Pulp this summer
