Deaf institute probably my favorite venue, Gorilla is consistently getting all the gigs I want to go to at the moment. 

Albert Hall is worth going to if someone plays there you kind of want to see.

All through July is Manchester International festival and they've got a tonne of shit up in albert square with live music and beer throughout most the day and some decent established acts playing for free in the evenings https://mif.co.uk/whats-on/festival-square/

You won't be disappointed with the live music scene in Manchester. I'd argue it's the best in the world. The Ritz and Apollo are also great venues.

Haha, it's Hatari. I was at a festival last year and pretty much everyone attending said they are a must see. I think even Julian Casablancas watched them, as The Voidz were subbing Hatari

I can’t see a full list of dates anywhere but Sleater-Kinney seem to be touring the UK next February.

To be fair, even when this "retirement" was announced they made a point of saying that it was a retirement from touring - no mention of doing stand alone shows or even a series of shows at a major venue. I don't think it was ever said (maybe slightly implied) that the final show of the tour would be the final Elton John show ever.
