On a coach straight outta Bolton, heroically resisting the temptation to start drinking. I find the thought of sitting down and opening the first one when I'm in and set up far more satisfying. I'm only kidding myself.

If NWA collaborated with the Lancashire Hotpots, this is what I imagine their debut single would be called.

Hopefully almost there, listening to Worthy FM to see how the queue situation is going at the gates and hopefully not stuck in traffic.

Excitement will be at its peak and I'll probably be driving my husband mad in the car!!

Will be enjoying my second morning on site after hopefully arriving on Monday evening as volunteering this year. I will be watching everyone else arrive on site with big smiles on their faces as they have made it through the queue and arrived to their home for the next 5/6 days.

45 minutes into our coach journey from Bolton. No doubt be laughing about previous festivals, discussing clashes, talking about Glasto food and convincing ourselves that Arcade Fire will do a secret set on the band stand. So glad I'm not driving this year especially with the 'pack light' announcement.

Feels like a strong contingent of Boltoners this year! Many more than usual that I know of, anyway!. :D

Ooh! It's the afternoon. Pennard Organic Wine will be open, so I'll be drinking some of that, and probably eating a pesto special from Pizza Tabun next door :)

EDIT: I will also almost certainly be horribly sunburned.

Hopefully be pitching up.. realistically I'll be in a huge queue. Regardless of where I am I will be making the most of the queue or the festival with a few beers, lots of love and making an effort to speak to new people.

I'll be there now. Camped up and having a drink with friends and helping out around our camp thinking to myself, "it's good to be home."

    • Someone said something along the lines of "the lows were really low but they highs were really high" and I think that sentence sums up my ps experience this year. Thursday was a downer (even though I got to see men I trust, geese, oklou and fcukers), but the weather, the missed shows and the uncertainty (those comms...) made it a bad day. Friday and Saturday on the other hand where rly good, a bunch of amazing shows each day (The Cure one was quite something), that surprise on Saturday...   Will be back next year, hope they get another impressive lineup as this year (quality and quantity wise) and that tickets and  primarily hotels don't get much more expensive.
    • Rosalia Radiohead NIN MGMT Bjork David Byrne   Also Vince Staples' new album is cool. I could see him returning.
    • If we are guessing then I think it's   Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls   Weezer   The All-American Rejects
    • Everyone who was there has said how amazing it was so makes the excitement grow even more.  The XX and actually Kneecap were both very good too.     Roll on 3 weeks time
    • Fallow year merch not for me... I'm not interested in celebrating this occasion - in fact I think it's stupid 🙂    Covid wiped out 2020 and 2021 so we should have another year or two before the fallow, in my opinion.  Probably a bit late to change their minds now though!
