thewayiam
Shaggy headlining Sonic would be shit unless it's Friday. Actually just see that Sonic last year finish 45/30 mins later than Pyramid Saturday and Sunday so get on the correct side of Pyramid to get out and could make that. Yeah, hoping for a second slot there. Glastonbury's gonna be heavily stacked this year. Edited April 25, 2017 by The Placid Casual
Mezhyp1
There might be some interesting placements there, thats quite a lot of electornica to fit in WOW, might get a surprise or two on The Blues like Maceo Plex last year
jed300
Yeah NAO did Pussy and Park last year. Hoping for similar there.
Deaf Nobby Burton
A few decent names on there that I recognise, although there is a direct correlation between how many names I know on the SH poster each year, vs my age.

Yes. It's essentially the 'dance village'. A variety of different stages to suit different tastes. BBC introducing is normally there as well but they only announce their line up very close to the event.
payneruk
As we were talking about the areas lack of theme earlier. The poster is very 70's disco. Could that be a new Silver Hayes theme this year?

The Glade would be awesome although i just have this feeling that for the time being if they were to show up it would be in Silver Hayes. I will of course be happy to be proved wrong however! He needs to have a word, standards are slipping. It starts with grubby posters and ends with Toploader headlining the Pyramid.
nikkic
Bloody hell I'd only just finished checking out the names from Block 9. Going to need to quit work at this rate to keep up!

Jain has already broken through in France but isn't that well known here yet. I can second this for Jain. Listened to her(their?) album a couple of weeks ago and it is fantastic. Other names that stick out to me (I hate trying to spot acts in such a mass of names) Is Strong Asian Mothers, Mura Masa, Kolsch, Mike Skinner, Flohio (ETC comp I believe), RAY BLK - And obviously the likes of Bicep, FBS, Troxler, Arts House Sounds like Bicep is going to be packed as per usual. Oh and Afriquoi are awesome. Edited April 25, 2017 by mjsell
thewayiam
Sister Bliss, Shaggy and Mylo from that.
FloorFiller
Can't say there's an awful lot there for me this year, although it's not a favourite area of mine so I'm fine with being there as little as possible really.

DJ Cull
I was hoping to see some more stuff at Silver Hayes this year (mud permitting) but there's not a huge amount that grabs me. Art's House Party will be good, and I might take the chance to see Fatboy Slim again - haven't seen him since he was in a boxing ring vs Arman van Helden back in Brixton.
