I can't copy and paste from a document as quick as I can type freehand, I usually keep the details on a piece of paper and frantically type when I get onto the sales page. I personally find that quicker, I can type quite fast without looking at the screen or keyboard even and don't tend to make that many mistakes when I do it so I just go down that route.

I find clicking off the doc to the page and back again 4 times takes longer than just typing it - have only missed out once since 2009 when we started going so I guess I must be lucky.

I like the idea of being able to store data for a card on the server though but at the same time this would probably cause server overload x 1000 or something, my main gripe is that they don't 'hold' tickets for you once you have entered reg numbers to give you time to put in card details and whatnot. The year after the Stones played, 10 minutes before the tickets sold out, I got onto the card details page and clicked through, the connection died and by the time I saw the booking page again, the tickets were gone.

Can't you store the information if you're signed up to Seetickets? Have I made that up?

The whole process makes me nervous, I want coach tickets so hopefully, I can be done and dusted by the time Sunday comes around! Have been for the last two / three years and it's been nice. Usually I'm up and trying for tickets for friends on Sunday but I feel more relaxed about the whole affair because of the practice run!

I think this is for 'normal' see tickets sales.

Glastonbury seems to exist in its own special bubble, like the absence of a timer that reserves tickets for a specified period of time.

That's based on my experience last year.

I'm hoping for coach tickets from Sheffield too - good luck . It always seems a no brainer to try for coach tickets, four bites of the cherry and the coach cost isn't much more than a car park ticket before you even factor in car fuel costs and the inevitable trek from the car parks to camping grounds.

They've up'd it to £20 this year on admin fees

Indeed they have, for the option of Daft Punk possibly though £20 still isn't  £450+.

The issue is I don't know anyone that would pay the money to see a later on Daft Punk show, the chances of them playing more dancey events aside to Glastonbury is quite likely and considering none of my friends are into that to bother going to them now, I can't see that changing. One mate would attend if it was SHM reunion.

That's weird, it lets you put your reg number and postcode in but then when you click submit it says you need a deposit.

I'm with you there, especially on a mac, it's much easier to type it in I find. There is a way of setting up a shortcut as well where the first three (or however may you choose) digits then pre populate the whole number, did it last year for our reg numbers and post codes and it worked a treat, best of both worlds. Only thing is it's mildly irritating for the rest of the year when you are trying to enter a slightly different post code or number that starts the same as your reg number.

google chrome have a facility where it remembers your card details and address, but I can't make it remember all the reg numbers like I can the card details.

I will stick with the tried and tested type frantic option. Can't go wrong except for typos. I remember one year we missed out in the main sale and it was because an error kept coming up, I checked, double checked, triple checked and realised there were no typos then it sold out. Turns out my other half had written her fucking reg. number down wrong! Thats the only worry I have, hence every year since I check everyones reg. myself to make sure the correct numbers. I have kept my old driving license just for Glasto and that had our old postcode on, where her brother and dad live still, so I can check all reg's for that postcode and See will email me them, but I will always sit there and type it out over copy and pasting. Too much time wasted.

the shortcut you mention is great on my iphone but I can't figure out for the life of me how to do same thing on Chrome on windows. That would be a helpful gamechanger.

You may have misinterpreted what the link says. It's ticket and coach package. I doubt they'd sell coach tix on there own. National express do that if you're after them

No, this is what the link says

Don't forget that you will need the registration numbers and postcodes of all of the people you wish to book tickets for.

Have never tried coach tickets.  We always get the car because we like to get there about midnight Tuesday night to get a good spot on Big Ground.

Couple of questions if we were to try for coaches...

1.  Travelling from London, would we have any control over what time our coach is?

2.  If we can select coach times, are we more likely to miss out if we go for the earliest coach slots, and therefore miss out on tickets altogether in coach sale? (ie by the time you go back in to try a second time all the tickets are gone)

I used copy and paste last year on my phone with the data stored on the android version of excel. My fingers were shaking so much that I was hopeless typing the info in directly. If you;re on a pc/laptop, then Alt + Tab is your friend, much quicked than typing surely.

I personally split the screen so the website is on one half and notepad on the other, saves having to alt + tab - every second counts!

My GF and I tackle T-day together. We print out all the details (reg numbers, postcodes and debit card details) in large type on a piece of A4, then if when one of us gets the form up the other one reads off the info to be typed in.

This has worked pretty well for us the last few years.
