Homer
Agreed on the design - though if you actually wore one you might as well just get a tattoo on your forehead saying 'I'm a first rate bellend' instead.
johnny-yen
What's happened? They've disappeared completely off the rumours list.
cidy
Emily said no roses next year in an interview . Clutching at straws here but we're the stories of the rolling stones headlining Debunked by the eavils then as we all know it happened . Gutted if true about no show of the roses tho perhaps the tv coverage was stumbling block

mungo57
That's my take on things. Wouldnt surprise me if Roses even agreed to play verbally then dropped out for a higher offer. They're clearly after more paydays - least this makes being ticketless easier to take although there IS the Radiohead thing

CaledonianGonzo
Well..if they get announced for the Isle of Wight we have to at least postulate that John Giddings got his big poacher's net out again

If IOW is a goer that will be your answer, honestly gutted but think this is the last year for them as any hype at all will be gone by 2019. It's strange as on there own all are happy to play Glastonbury but it seems all that matters is a nice retirement fund.

It certainly doesn't seem impossible for a band that have chased the big paydays with all their other shows since reforming.

A new album could come next year, but lets face it they've virtually sold out all of their stadium gigs so do they actually need to bother? I am in the same boat - pure guesswork but not beyond all possibilities. Ian et al clearly want to stoke the coffers before jacking it in so from their point of view it would be better to take the £ from someone like IOW. Wouldn't even surprise me to see them do V or R+L. It was wrong, i have to suck it up.
EamerRed
If you do hear anything Neil it would be great to know. I was convinced I was going to be seeing the Roses with my mates next year . Still seeing them at Wembley but it's not the same. ThomThomDrum
Emily coming out with this the day Radiohead were confirmed is like punching someone in the face on their birthday just after they opened the present you gave them! russycarps
what's the best place to buy face value tickets these days? Looks like I'm going to have to go to wembley I think.
Hugh Jass
If they've taken the £££s again to play the same IOW set they played three years ago they can fuck right off. Bunch of c**ts.

ClementsMike
Gutted. I have tix for Wembley but was hoping to save the expense and see them at the farm. Going into a fallow year having seen R'Head and the Roses at the festival would have been epic.
mufcok
Gonna take me a little while to get over this one, thought it was final the year for me to see one of my all time favourite bands grace the Pyramid and it's been ripped away from me. Gutting
Oldredeyes
Emily stated they are not headlining. Could they be sub to e.g. Pink Floyd? (As opposed to the Fratellis in to Ed Sheeran).
