Brighton not up for me either. The ideal scenario would be the earliest time possible there, latest time back. Think that goes without saying though.

Last year was 7.45am out (which without the traffic mayhem would have been brilliant!) and then 7.30am on the way back, I'd take that again in a shot.

Heh, my time going out was 7:45 last year as well. Must have been on the same coach then!

You're under no obligation to get the return bus with See. I'm booking a later one.

I've actually got plans for the Monday evening so will be aiming to get on that one. Need to practice putting my tent down after a few drinks. It should be a nice quiet trip with a lot of legroom though

Booking another one with National Express, or just going to try and jump on a later See one? I've got 6am return to Southampton, but live in Colchester. Anyone know the likelihood of me being able to wangle my way onto a return coach to London?

Anyone got any ideas on what the journey time is normally like to & from London?  Just trying to gauge arrival time and how drunk I'm likely to be when I try to put my tent up.

Usually about 4.5 - 5 hours including the mandatory 40 minutes stop and services and morning rush hour traffic on the m25.

You should miss the worst of the traffic coming out of London at that time which should speed things up. Last year I had a bus at 6am which left about 6.20, I'm pretty sure I was at my camping spot in Pylon by 11.30 - this was on Thursday though so no traffic getting on site.

So if you're not the lead booker, you need to contact them for the second half of the details?

Yes but if you can use their phone number if you know it.
