Norwegians have updated and it's a deterioration I'm afraid! Varying degrees of rain every day up to and including Wednesday.

Hopefully it's a better picture tomorrow.

Very small amounts of rain Monday and Tuesday, and some sun (before it was just cloud)- also Sunday's rainfall is less than other forecasts. There's still hope.

You were playing the negative nelly(Nally) character a few minutes ago! :P

I'm resigned to it being sticky underfoot. I can cope with that if the weather itself is decent.

BBC has a worrying amount of Heavy Rain Sunday into Monday but then a good forecast for Wednesday-Sunday. The Norwegians have showers every day up to Wednesday but not huge amounts.

Jesus Christ this is bad. Place is flooded already. Loads of rain due and they have to tow in the guys with the stalls because the ground is so fucked.

You know I'm coming round to your thinking. Everything is lined up for a totally horrific volume of mud.

Even if it does rain the next few days just make sure you've got some good wellies lots of warm clothes and more socks than you think you'll need and wet weather gear and you'll have a fabulous time. A bit of rain and mud never hurt anyone :) oh and don't forget camping chairs so you can sit down in the rain. I'm sure the forecasts won't be as bad as they are expecting. It really is surprising how quick it manages to dry out even with what looks like bad flooding

Was anyone really expecting it to have dried out again after 24 hours?

This far out what we have at the minute isn't a festival-trasher, it's what happens next - tomorrow night and whether or not the good forecasts hold or whether rain starts cropping up every day.

FWIW the BBC was forecasting rain this afternoon that didn't arise.

Well...... In 2014 the rain and mud caused me to fall, broke my ankle into several pieces and caused me major surgery and 12 weeks in plaster.

Hasn't put me off, though! :)

Blimey hope you're ok now :) I know how long bad injuries like that can take to properly heal! I take it you have a good pair of sturdy boots for this year? Good to hear it hasn't dampened your spirits (no pun intended :P

Lets face it. No one has a fucking clue whats going on. Not those chancers at the Met office, nor those c**ts at Accuweather. Those genocidal maniacs Jackone or this other blow in are certifiable children eaters and as for the Norwegians!? What have they ever done? Anyone who enjoys the cold that much cant be trusted.

It will be fine.

At the end of the day we're all extremely lucky to have tickets and I'd rather be there in the rain than at home watching it on tv.

We will all have an amazing time with friends and see some incredible acts and meet loads of new people. Be positive and embrace the mud :bye:

I dunno why people aren't more relieved that this happened a full 7 days before the first full day of acts and not way closer - or with 100,000 people already on the site.

Because most of us are English. Therefore, miserable, pessimistic and like complaining.
