Only a few hours ago I was telling my group the weather looks like it's going to be ok, they'll be proper pissed when they find out about the biblical floods.

Just flash flooding - too much water too quickly so can't soak in - drainage will clear it quick enough.

Maybe because I've raided my Glasto stash early, but that is beautiful.

The last second of daylight, you can see the night time and the day time in one photo, bring your eyes from the left of the picture to the right, then realise that it's 1 second, all captured at the same point in time.
What more is that it's the most amazing place on earth, so much happens within those boarders of the photo, memories, first times, friends, laughter, events.

Feel sorry for the people who are setting everything up and working on site in those conditions. Starting to worry now that the flooding is going to make it very difficult to get everything set up in time.

Yeah, I was trying to imagine how this weather would affect big builds like the SE corner, must put a halt to painting anything on site!

We don't know how quickly the site dries out without sun, pretty much relying just on drainage system. If it can't hack it, there's more rain scheduled for Sunday/Monday- could be a nightmare by the time the gates open if people can even get on site (think hefty delays due to flooding or mud), also it's a big set back logistics wise, I'm presuming they work on a tight schedule for setting things up.

Just in case it needs further confirmation...it absolutely hosed down today. Water rushing down our lane, thought about getting the sandbags out. Wasn't needed as it stopped. It's damp but it'll drain.

On the plus side, Yr.no is looking pretty sexy right now. 1cm of rain from Tuesday onwards.

I'm presuming that when it comes to organising the biggest festival in the world, something they've done for over 40 years, in a place with a reputation for shite weather, that they'll leave enough time and have sufficient contingencies in place...

Current forecast for Pilton has a wee bit of sun for tomorrow.

People are only posting the worst photos and videos on here.  If you look at some of the other photos and videos emerging from the site I'm not seeing anything that's making it look like the festival will be 'untenable' or a 'nightmare'.
