Michael Stipe singing The Man Who Sold the World

I bloody love Michael Stipe and his voice. Always have.

If anyone can tell me how to embed videos from my phone I will change it.

nice one mate, good video that.

I was a big REM fan and obviously Bowie so thats the best of both worlds for me :)

fuck it, here's another Space Oddity cover - can't remember if I have already posted it but here we go:

from the man himself, Steven Wilson from when I saw him at Hammersmith Apollo (not my vid by the way I take no credit for this)

This is great - lovely tribute.

Steven Wilson is awesome. No idea what he's doing this summer, but he's someone that really should be at Glastonbury.

Porcupine Tree to headline 2017!

I am a massive SW/PT fan - personally I think he would be a bit shit at G though.

Needs minimum 2 hour set, in the dark, preferably indoors. Otherwise it would get lost totally I reckon.

The fact PT are on indefinite hiatus doesn't help either :'(

I'd be down for Porcupine Tree headlining the JPT one day. Even if they played outdoors I'm still not sure how 'shit' it would be though...they are still a great band even if you take away the lights/screens and give them a shorter set! It wouldn't be ideal but I'd still be excited!

Interested in seeing the gig on the screens and hopefully Slick, Leonard, Dorsey, Garson etc playing in some capacity.

Nae interest in seeing a load of random c**ts getting up there and doing Space Oddity.

Bits of the gig here

    • Tbf that happened to me in 2022 so not a one off. 40 euros to drive down 3 streets. I'd have done a runner but the reason for getting the taxi in the first place is cos I couldn't walk no more.
