eastynh
Any sign of Alphabeat making a return next year?
BlackHole2006
New Youth Lagoon album is a thing of beauty. Sounds totally different to his other stuff in a really good way. Reckon he'd be worth a shout for next year, seeing as he's already confirmed for Field Day.
Rose-Colored Boy
Kanye and at this rate Rihanna will be my big ones. Hopefully Paolo Nutini too, although he's said a recent gig was his last for a while so heaven knows where that album which was supposedly 'almost finished' at the time Caustic Love came out has got to. Rose-Colored Boy
Two Door Cinema Club are back too although I'm thinking they've left it too long for this album to take them anywhere but backwards.
Woffy
Ulrika Spacek's debut LP ' The Album Paranoia' is out on 5th Feb.
The_Amazing_Oblong
Modest Mouse already knocked out their new album (possibly called 'Whabever') when they recorded Strangers to Ourselves and will release it as soon as legally possible (whatever that means). Featuring Krist Novoselic. Metacritic has the release date as 'Spring'.
willutalk
Alllways game for a new NIИ album. Might be a very suitable album to come to Worthy Farm in 2017 on the back its release, given that their return is well overdue (in my opinion). dirty_dog
seeing Daughter in January so can't wait for the new album, The Xx are in the studio at the minute so maybe something towards the back end of the year. if some of the others mentioned are true then Local Natives and Bon Iver would be ace. kingcrawler
Anyone else heard the new Daughter album which leaked yesterday? I've listened to it quite a few times now and I really like it. Not too dissimilar to their debut although it's a bit more direct and heavier in places. I wouldn't say it's quite as good as their debut (though most albums aren't) but I'm sure it'll still grow on me more. Hope they get a decent slot next year, something like subbing the Park before M83 would be fantastic.

Yeah, I hope they get a slot like that next year! Off to see them in a couple weeks so I'll report back on how the new stuff sounds live

Amy Lawn
Finally picked up Solo by Nils Frahm today. Still unable to lay me hands on that Floating Points album though, may have to resort to the scary world of the internet.
Mash011
New albums from Bowie and Hinds leaked this morning. The Hinds one is really fun, as you'd expect, nice stuff, and I'm going to listen to Blackstar shortly.

If you like your music sung in tune, tight and instrumentally exceptional, it's probably not for you. I, however, think it's utterly brilliant fun and puts a smile on the face, which is sometimes all you need.

Kanye's turned to such a disappointment over the last year. I'm really hoping he redeems himself with the album but it's looking less and less likely. Thankfully this dull track probably won't be on it.
FloorFiller
Hinds album is pretty damn great from first few listens! pretty gutted i missed them at the festival last year. hopefully they'll be making another appearance this time round given DIIV's new album a couple of listens and it's not grabbing me like i thought it would. Under The Sun stands out a lot - absolutely hooked on that song - but the rest hasn't grabbed me in quite the same way. will hopefully fall in to place with a few more listens as i had high hopes for it Bowie's album next! already heard about half of it through singles which have all been great so hoping the rest keeps up the quality
Badlands
I'd seen the lyrics to Kanye's new track before hearing the song and they set my cringe gland right off, just shite. Having heard the track, it's not as bad as I'd feared, still not up to anything off Yeezus though. If he's that obsessed with his clothing range, he should sack the music on the head. I'd rather wait three years for a belter than he releases half arsed stuff.

FloorFiller
when written out like that, this year should be a truly incredible year for music. got me very excited reading all of those names, and the possibilities of them appearing at Glastonbury/festivals
