You know, I think you might be onto something. I've always assumed that due to her humongous record sales she could only headline, but is that really so? If she has stage fright, then headlining is no way to go about curing herself. She might prefer to play earlier if at all, and of course it works better musically for her to be on earlier.

I would think it is so that she could only headline. Hypothetically though; wouldn't that be worse? An even more packed, more visible gathering of people as far as the eye could see? I don't really think it works better musically either - her music isn't really about the summer jams.

Even if the article is right the Adele suggestion is still only a guess, I still think Fleetwood Mac or Radiohead are as much a possibility for the Saturday

Now I don't know who to trust, the BBC's own figures or the National Office Of Scruff's Made up Statistics (NOOSMUS). I did learn from that website that Y The Last Man is being made into a TV series though, what's the fucking point? Don't.

I suspect more would have watched if it wasn't Kanye. 

That isn't an anti kanye post, I just believe a lot tuning in are often older on a Saturday night.

Kanye is the only headliner I can remember people telling me they watched. People watched the bands they were into, but he's the only one where I had people telling me they tuned in just because. Everybody and their nan watched Dolly though.
