Watching BGT final last night (don't judge!) and saw Michael Flatley and his dancers. He basically confirmed he was retiring this year .. Maybe that could be something that would fit with what West Holts have just posted?

Just checked and his show 'Lord of the Dance' is on every night in London except Sunday 28th June ...

I.. wow.

While I'd be surprised at Riverdance Man, I do agree that that 'spectacular' maybe hints at some sort of visual element and - if that's the case - I do wonder what it could mean.

I doubt it would be an 'Archaos on the Pyramid' style thing - but it could be, I dunno, Fela! The Musical or something of that ilk.

Sounds like Lauren Laverne is going to have an interview with Emily Eavis at some point on her 6music show tomorrow as well. So the lineup will be out before 12 at the latest...

I defo makes sense to go with the earlier idea, given there is a fair few TBC's just to go C, waiting I think would get more of a it's finally out/but we knew already.

Flying Lotus or FKA twigs would suit the description but I'm not convinced of headlining prospects, particularly if Caribou isn't headlining the same stage.

I think it could be Flying Lotus... he was lumped with the other West Holts acts on the main poster

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
