Best Weather?

Was thinking whilst sunning it up earlier that this would be perfect glastonbury weather. Not too hot, bit of breeze and cloud but still warm and sunny; I've only been the last 2 years but what's peoples' preference for weather, do people really like it being roasting all weekend? Thought 2014 was pretty good apart from slightly less rain/storms would be nice, found 2013 a bit hot at times, and being woken 2 hours after going to sleep by blistering tent heat at 8am isn't my favourite thing.

2010 was the worst ever, too hot, too dusty, people passing out, sunburn, headaches. Hated every minute.

2010 All day every day. The sun needs as much prep as the rain though, sun cream, hat and keep hydrated. Jobs a good'un.

I was there in 2007 & 2010. The weather in the surrounding years is much more to my liking, a bit of rain, a bit of sun, a bit of mud. a nice mix

The perfect weather involves cloud from 9pm to 11am, almost blue skies the rest of the time and a daytime temperature of 20-24 degrees. Maybe a slight breeze. Low humidity. No rain.

I've never been bothered by dust, but I do feel for those that are affected. Not enough for it to rain, mind.

2010 was tough with the heat, but a big cooler and it would have been perfect. As long as it's dry and you can sit on the grass that suits me.

Now I love the heat, but 2010 was a killer. 33 most days coupled with 22 hours of alcohol and 2 hours sleep is not a good mix. I was that goosed I paid a young man who was skint £20 to buy me a bottle of water. I also watched the football outside of gate B. Thought I was going to pass out. Today's weather would be perfect throughout!

2013 all day

Last year was pants, I was thoroughly fed up of the rain Friday and Saturday afternoon

In late June though, even in this country, the sun will bring heat with it. That was one freak year which I doubt we'll get again for many years!

But If the alternative if slopping around in the mud and the rain then pass me the sun cream!!

like a few others we were there in 2007 and 2010 and whilst 2007 nearly put us off for good, i found 2010 the worst,i was living and working in saudi at the time and even then found 2010 a killer, 33 in the UK is too hot. Perfect for me would be mid twenties, occasional cloud during the day and a light 30 minute shower at 6.30 am to help keep the ground soft without getting any chance of mud. Last year wasnt too bad overall and if it ended up being the same again then we could live with that:)

2013 was pretty much perfect.

I didn't go in 2010 but at Werchter last year it was 30+ for a few of the days and that was bad enough, so 5 days with almost no shade must have been killer

I would maintain that 2010 was banging but I love it when it's absolulty bastard hot but it did make things difficult & you had to drink more water. Also the not being about the stay in the tent past 8am was pretty wack.

I ultimately think that last year would be ideal if there was a touch less rain and no Thunder & lightning (as much of a spectical it was it was shit having the place shut down for ages)

But if I had to take 2010 or gamble id take barstard hot.

perfect festival weather:

- dry (as rain/mud is obviously shit)

- mostly cloudy with a few hours of sunshine in the afternoon (as too much sun involves dehydration/a grimey layer of suncream/hot tent)

- no wind (as sound gets washed out at some stages otherwise)

2010 .... Amazing weather. Didn't suffer at all with the heat apart from losing my voice for 6 weeks afterwards due to all the dust . Would rather have that over mud and rain any year

Early morning mist leading to a slightly overcast morning, where the sun burns the clouds away around noon but you get the occasional cloud drifting past to give some respite from the sun. 25-28c peak afternoon. Perfect festival weather.
